Hi guys I need your opinions on these 2 lights I'm getting, I worked out my own homemade cfl setup would of cost over 180.00 to make mainly the bulbs for that price so instead I looked for an alternative.
This Is what I found.

I will get the 2700k bulb to put in it as it comes with a useless 4000k
And then this

this comes with the 6400k bulb I might get two of each now I need your opinions, is this too good to be true or have I found the cheapest grow lights on the planet, I'll be doing my grow in my wardrobe which is roughly 1.3 x 0.9 m
Many thanks

The Halogen would be worthless, the floodlight would work a little but you can't beat a MH/HPS combo for results. I am growing 4 plants and I could grow up to 8 under 1 400 watt HPS. 1 400 Watt HPS puts out 54,000 lumins! This is just my experience and opinion.

you can't beat this deal!! It only adds about 15 bucks a month to my bill on 20/4 and here is my grow under a 400 watt MH/HPS in a DWC Hydro system https://www.autoflower.org/f35/hi-all-my-first-af-grow-37161.html#post701017

I was gonna go for the cfl version that produces 3300 lumens not the halogen and yeah I understand that HPS and MH are better but I need cfl for stealth im
Flir camera mad

And nice grow!!! I might start with a dwc but don't wanna make things to complicate I've only ever grown once and their weir autos under a 250 watt 6500k and yep all the way till harvest ( I didn't know what I was doing)

If you are going for stealth most here would probably recomend an LED setup, from what I can tell you can get a decent LED for 180 bucks and you will save yourself the headache of trying to grow decent cannabis without the proper lighting(believe me it is a pain)

I am not here to dog your setup please keep that in mind, I only can tell you what I have seen from others. Every single person that I have seen on this forum and another who have started out using CFL's have ALL switched to either LED or HID. The reason is the lumen output CFL's just do not put out enough lumens to be effective.

Your plants WILL grow but if you are going to use CFL's please temper your expectations for yeild. I would reccomend looking at some of the other people who have used CFL's and what they were able to produce.

I have seen too many times people who have put 3 or 4 months and done EVERYTHING else correct just to yeild 6 grams of bud, then get dissapointed and be turned off from growing all due to insufficent lighting. I promise you will be happier by waiting until you can get the proper light source for your ladies.

Sending good vibes and great karma your way my friend

The general rule of thumb is 50 watts per square foot. Your space is roughly 51" x 35", so about 12 square feet. To effectively light that whole area you will need a total of 600 watts. The first light you listed is 42 watts, so you would need 14 of those. Your second option is 52 watts, so you would need 12 of those. Obviously all those lights won't fit in that area. When you do the math it's easy to see that you would be much better off just buying a couple of 300 watt leds or a 12 bulb T5 HO fixture instead.

howdy partner,
we are coming to the end of a cfl eco light grow the light which we are using are built to veg and grow and flower plants, but like derek says you have to lower expectations of final amount, if your doing this on a budget and for a fun experiment then by all means go ahead an do it, but like what derek and muddy says they are not the best lights, the spectrum they give off is much more of a white light where as leds give off better range of useful spectrum, plus cgls dont penetrate that far so having a 42w one tbh your gonna be burning your plant because you'll have to have right on top
