BTW What are you using for molasses? I bought something Eyes recommended. It was a little pricey. Just trying to drive my overhead down.

Yea, I always thought it was cool naming plants. Im just not good at naming things. So, when I do land on a name. Im not completely satisfied lol.

Ive been using wholesome Sweeteners Organic Molasses Unsulfered. I got it on sale last time. I got a thing of grandmas molasses unsulfered for when the wholesome one runs out. Ive been using wholesome since I started growing. Im switching just to try and bring my overhead down too lol. Only last thing I need to buy is some cal/mag by general organics. Next check. Nutes are expensive but worth it in the end. The harvest is worth way more then the nutes lol. So, Im still spending less then if I got my meds through any dispensary.

you can also try doing a bartenders liquid sweet sugar water syrup and add powdered molasses similarly ,or sugar in the raw also for a mellow dual formula to get both aspects of enzymes n things that is some quality water and two powdered or dry sugars bought cheaply in bulk if ya look. super cheap n will last you a year and can be stored for a while in the frigde assuming youll use it within an auto grow for example..try it out. use can tylor your sweetners this way too with enhancements if you so choose too lol!:Sharing One:

So Eyes, what are my goals when I add a sweetener? Does it help the plants grow or is more of a flavoring? I have a 1 lb bag of the dried organic molasses you recommended. Can I mix it with a liter of water and use it by the teaspoon or should I add it to my res dry and how much per liter/gallon would I add. Thanks man!

uhh i dunno man , are you doing hydro? added dry to your res.? but dry powdered is for growth AND flavor along with a more light sweetner to finishout rinse.ive had some pretty decent results with good low doses of suger syrup run through my rinse n water teas for added tastes.seems to help with the oil profiles a good bit if i do it right lol.but still tinkering all n all. but for soil it builds enzyme properties and helps provide foords for the development for beni bugs n the like n all that fun jazz but thats for soil only.you should consult a hydro diude for proper behavior is hydro clean system set ups.aint my field lol:Sharing One:

Hmmm, is it better then just using regular molasses? If so, how much better would you say?

I was thinking of adding in some of this organic vanilla extract I got with the last watering before harvest for some complimentary flavor and smell.
I remember this guy who would put organic blueberry extract in his. Definitely made a noticeable difference he said.

Side Note :
Oh, and I gave the white triangle her first full watering. I just watered her with a tsp of kelp. Looks like she responded very well to the watering.
