Day 1 update

Whats up everyone. day 1 above the soil for only one so far. I only planted 2 seeds. So, Im happy as long as one of them makes it above the soil.
I did plant both seeds in when the root tip was barely visible. The one the sprouted so far is in the 32oz cup. So, if the one I planted in the big pot doesnt sprout eventually. Ill just transplant, and or just cup out the bottom of the 32oz cup into the 3.75 gallon.

Im going to be putting up a humidity dome made out of a water bottle over the plant once the lights turn on.

I have my tap water aerating in a 5 gallon bucket using a fish tank pump and a bubble stone bar.


I also ordered 1 of the 2 UFO led lights Im going to be using.

Looks like Im going to have to transplant. Found a litle dead almost seedling this morning. Looks like maybe I had the seed not deep enough/ and or drop the seed with its root tip pointing up. Part of the root was exposed, and the seedling was dead, stuck in the seed shell. owell lol.

I kind of wanted just one plant since its a new strain, and Im not sure how big its going to get.

Little Day 3 Update.

I have decided to germ another seed.
Added in 2 more lights 25watt each (6 25watt CFLS totall.((150watts)))
(4 6500k)
(2 2700k)
Temps ~75
RH ~50%

20/4 lighting sched

I added in a ghetto reflector(disposable aluminium turkey pan) and the 2 extra bulbs, because it was a little on the cold side in there, and I figured its going to need better light reflection hitting it until the LED gets here. I also have the 2 fans on the floor cooling the CFL's, and keeping it from frying my seedling lol.
