Hi Everyone.
Super excited to start my first grow thread with you all. I’m new to Mephisto but not growing. Using HP high-porosity medium with the GH flora series, in 3 gallon fabric pots. 320w qb Kingbrite 3500k with the extra 660 reds.
I was one of the new Canadian reddit users chosen to be a tester candidate up here. Got a 4 pack of unknown seeds in mail, labelled only ’001’.
Excited (and also a bit anxious) to share my progress with you all and learn from everyone else’s experiences. So, here we go!

Seeds received Nov 6th, went into water for about a 20-24hr soak on night of Nov 7th:

I germinated (DVD case method) all 4 to test and by Nov 9th all had success: 2 with long tails, 2 just peeking out:

I put them 3 into 3gal fabric pots and 1 in smaller tomato pot. I can only realistically grow 3 in this space:

They all popped above soil by the 12th so I went with that as Day 1. By the 13th on Day 2:

Flash forward to Nov 21st, Day 10:

So far things are going well. Notable issues encountered so far: one of four started more on yellow-er side, especially in the newer growth - mostly now resolved. Also I got a bit aggressive with the light so a bit of curling on two of the plants - also now under control. This new light is a beast.

Will try to post at least once a week as time / schedule / family permits.

Thanks @420Forever and @Filthy_Casual!

Sunday, Nov 22nd update. Things still going well. Even the one in the small pot is doing well. Still keeping light at about 75% strength. Forgot to mention running a 6” AC Infinity fan setup with cheap amazon carbon filter. Vent outside so not a big issue. Temps around 26-27, with humidity 40-50%. Starting to ponder what strain these girls are!

Wed night update. Plants growing really well, starting to push up the height. Most working on 5/6 node.

Will look to start LST on at least one in a few days, but will also be keeping one ‘normal’ too. The lower growth is really starting to take off.

Those are growing quick! Wonder if they will be fast finisher's

Happy Black Friday! I hope all my frients south of the border had a great thanksgiving.
Update on the ‘001’ tester grow. We are now on Day 16 and the growth has been really good. I have started to do as much leaf tucking as I can, still 1-2 days from full lst, and I tried turning the lights up to about 85% (from about 75%), will need to keep close eye.
This will probably be the last night for the littlest girl. Its been really interesting to see the impact of pot size on this strain (everything else was mostly consistent) and my setup. It actually stretched up a bit more, but is noticeably smaller overall.

So far these have been an absolute joy to grow!

Sorry for the gap in posting, life gets in the way sometimes. Unfortunately, 1 of the testers sexed to both (hermi) and I had to take it down:

My first ever Meph hermi. Was not just 1 or 2 nodes I could clip carefully, it was a full on he/she. Plus side, two growing well, will try to post more soon.
