Those look great Eakman I hope my plant turns out like yours. Do you know how they do being topped? Cuz I top every thing. I have had great luck topping every thing but diesel strains.

I think they will top fine. I did top the mother's to create more branching, and they look good. Next time I take a pic, I will show you how the other's are doing

I have powdery mildew on both clones I hate getting plants form other people. The first time I got a plant form some one I took his word and did not inspect the plant and it was infested with spider mites. The first time which was the time before this I got 2 clones from this dispensary and got gnats and the clones were so deprived of cal/mag one plant turned completely purple except on the tops of the leaves before I figured it out. The dispensary told me the plant was suppose to go purple, they were wrong. This time I have powdery mildew. I hate getting clones and think this is the last time. I love seeds. I am going to tackle this problem and grow out the crop but dam this pisses me off. I asked the girl at the dispensary about how they manage pests and she told me O we don't have that problem. We don't have to use any thing, BS.


I asked one of the growers at this place if he has ever grown autos before and he was like ya about half of the plants I grow are auto. He started talking about how they pre flower and went on about cloning. I was like dude I cant clone my plants. I told him they were not affected my light cycle so he tried to tell me how I could place a branch in a box to only flower the branch, what a dumb F#@&.


This place grows some of the dankest weed. How can they be so dumb. This is the last time I bring some one else's problems in to my grow room.

I don't have much to update. Every thing is just getting larger. Both purple kush are in pre flower and both Mi 5 are bud. I am trying to pollinate the shorter pheno type MI5 as it is a larger yielder so I will probably keep seeds from it and give away the taller seeds. Both Purple Kush are turning out to be purple and are going to be great mother plants. Axially I will probably give all my MI5 seeds away to friends as I was just looking for a father plant for the Purple Kush. I fed my smaller clone with Cal/Mag today but have not started a feeding schedule yet. A few plants are going to get transplanted today, my smallest clone, Cotton candy and my smallest Purple Kush. What I believe to be White powdery mildew has not spread. I have what looks like crystals on the leaves of my 2 clones but there not trichomes. All plants look great with no signs of deficiencies, nute burn or mites so it is a good grow so far. My smallest clone looks like it could use some Mag cuz the stem is purple but should clear up here in the next week.

So here is an update. I transplanted my Green crack in to a 3.4 gallon pot it is on the left and fed some Cal/Mag and silica. Pic 2 is of a MI5 female I pollinated with MI5 male. I tried to keep this plant small but it is still getting large on me. Pic 1 is of my Purple Kush mother I pollinated with the same MI5 father, I guess it is going to be Purple MI5. I killed the father today I probably should have let the mother plants get pollinated for another 2 weeks but I want to start washing things down so I can bloom my photo's in 2 weeks. I am hoping to have very little contamination on my photos from the pollen. I am going to wash the walls and rub the leaves with a damp rag to try and limit the un wanted pollination. I am also going to vent the room good. What I thought was powdery mildew has not spread at all so I am stumped? Hope it is nothing and I am just paranoid. Other than that every thing is going good with no signs of deficiencies, spider might's or nute burn yet.

I am interested to see if the father plants will have purple flowers or not when I grow the F1 generations. I have crossed a few strains before and have had great success. My first real grow was crossing 2 autos so I did not have to pay for more seeds but it interested me so much I keep ordering seeds of different types and it has gotten quiet expensive Now I have a huge list of strains I want to grow again or new strains I want to try. This will be the first of many crosses you will see. I have some other stuff waiting for a later grow / cross you should like. I want to create a purple northern light's cross " Black Light"

Update: First pic is of the Green crack, it has just started to pre flower. Second is Ace of spades also in pre flower but ahead of green crack cuz it was a clone. Third is of Perma frost and also in pre flower and a few days ahead of green crack due to being a clone.


Forth pick is of the autos. As you can see the Purple Kush is skinny and is typical of this strain, if grown correctly it is still lanky and tall but I have neglected it a little and it will never fill out like it normally would due to a lack of light, small pot and light feeding but it is only for seed so I don't care. Fifth pic is of the purple in the Purple Kush showing why it is a mother plant. The sixth picture has a good shot of one of the MI5s in the back which is filled out good and seeded too.


I fed the Ace and green crack some Bloom, Cal/Mag and some silica today. I am getting small white mold spots on leaves on all Photo plants and have pulled every infected leaf and don't know what to do yet about it. I am hoping I can just pull a few leaves as they get infected once and a while tell harvest but am worried it might start to infect buds later in bloom. I know my humidity is a little high cuz the room is a little muggy so I am trying to keep the door open to help it keep dryer. I will have to take a picture of the mold next time a leaf gets infected which should be in the next few days. I am hoping I have enough leaves to last tell harvest on my plants cuz I am pulling about 1 to 2 a day.

The purple is starting to smell purple (Grape, lemon, lime) and I am thinking it would smell great crossed with Himalayan Blue diesel which is also sweat, floral, citrus with a hint of skunk.
