I'm bumping this as I think it is more interesting to see these new diodes which may be why the new Grow Northern lights will be so much smaller, yet be more powerful. Rather than which company owns Philips. This is a thread about the new Grow Northern Lights isn't it?

I think you might be onto something here bro,I imagine GN would want to use the best chips Philips have to offer.

Gang of small lights will always outperform a big light with the same amount of power as you can hang the small lights at different heights and angle them to create a better coverage over the canopy.

And i must say i will be waiting till theese Bad ass babys come to the Market. Had a Talk with my Partner from the Seedbank and we will Stack the Breeding Facility with the new Gn Units and the Purp Aliens to Compare them Side by Side. Now for me its finishing the Grows i have atm and then move over to the Netherlands again.

Sounds great bro I know GN have put some thought into multiple light set ups and there are some exciting features because of this.

I feel release is just weeks away and all credit to GN,to go from a company that ships pre manufactured units from China to a Manufacturing company building lights from scratch is huge for them and the industry.

Ohh yess that sounds like Chain Lining Tang Would be damn awesome if u can Link the Lights together so for the Photos to put them in only 1 Timer. For bigger Projects like we plan this would make Work less Stressy and Monitoring more easy.

They used Luxeon on their older boards, you can see it on some of Tangs photos, so i guess they'll stick with a good thing ?

Yeah bro one bit of sold info we have from them is that the LEDs will be Philips Rebels.
