V10 lol that's the first light I thought of to when I heard of the new GN unit... We'll
Just all have to be patient and wait and see the hype is palpable.
Keep guessing lol one clue I can give is it's totally different to any other Growligh, remember GN make custom units for the bio manufacturing industry that's where they first used the Rebels so that's had an influence.
I didn't see that bit anywhere, seems a bit odd, you would need to make them incompatible on purpose as led panels/COBs are low power units that have drivers built in to regulate the voltage.
Funny enough one of the guys on RIU built his own and when he runs it at 120v the lamps use more watts than at 240v but either supply will work unless GN have built a 240v only driver unit.
Hmmm, that could actually allow big improvements in power use regulation/efficiency and open up new possibilities in reducing heat generation by having dedicated drivers for different power supplies!
I'm determined not to be too surprised by the details but my brain is melting thinking up different ways they can get their new stuff to do what it claims!
I'm as excited about this as I am the Nvidia Maxwell 8 Series Graphics cards and that is just plain sad what excites me in life, I know
On the other hand I'll make enough money building new PC gaming rigs to be able to afford a new GN unit so still moist with anticipation and I need a bigger house for all the lights I want!
