New Grower New grow Red Dwarf and Northern Light

Okay I am ready to start my journal. Today is 4 August 2014. I am using 3 gallon pots with sunshine mix#4. I am growing one Red Dwarf and one Northern Light auto. I germinated using the paper towel method and I planted when the root got to about a 1/2''. I have never had a problem with the paper towel method. On the day of planting I used a 1/2 gallon of water and mixed 1ml of Liquid Karma. The ph of the water was 6.2 and there was no runoff because I did not soak the soil. During this grow any and all advice is welcome critique me as much as possible because I want to learn. I will be using GH Flora Grow Series.

That seems like a bit much for water, Just saying be careful. I flushed a few beans half way down a 5 gal that way before I switched to pre-watering. IMHO buy a mister bottle to help and/or a 12oz(355ML) soda bottle drink it and cut O's in it to break up the flow remove plastic ish seal inside cap though.(250ML bottle and mister would be ideal to prevent over watering)

Your grow looks like its off to good start. So i am interested on what comes out of your red dwarf. Hey i got the buddah seeds variety 10 pack. I nailed down that i grew a deimos and a magnum (90% sure). So I have 8 more seeds that i don't know what they are yet; so please take a bunch of pictures if you can. I thought i was growing a red dwarf cause it reeked. I was wrong it was my CBD lavender that reeked. Anyway just looking for people that are growing buddah seed, so i can nail it down. good luck.

I should have been clear my bad.. I mixed the LK in a 1/2 gallon jug and wet the top layer and planted. When they grow for the first few days I will mist like you said. I just suck at making small mixes so I always mix in a half gallon even if there is a lot to discard. I pour the left over on my flowers outside they seem to like it. Yes I will take plenty of pics of the dwarf

Ahh gotcha man, I am the same way. Too small of a room for error for my shaky ass hands lol! An my no fun plants dont seem to mind the extras as well :thumbs: I'll sub this, I was always curious how red dwarf does

I am curious to what causes the curve in stems . They both did if at first but the northern light is still bending. Red dwarf is doing great

Dont touch em. Just let them do what they do. The light will train the stems.

Find some time lapse videos on youtube. Those thing swirl around and bend back and forth. As long as the cotyledeons shed the seed shell your good.

Okay need some advice. I have been misting the seedlings for 5 days. When is the best time to introduce nutes. I am using sunshine mix #4 I know that mix has a small charge. I just want to stay on top of it
