Sounds like I need the bigger fan! When I bought the duct fan I also bought a speed controller. The directions said I should NOT use the speed controller with the duct fan which is fine. I got the duct fan and 4" filter from HGT Supply. Question - Will the speed controller work with most 4" higher speeds fans other than HGT's ? Seems like it would. It just plugs in with a regular house plug. I see many other fans cheaper on ebay. But HGT's have a 5 year warranty. Should I really care about the warranty? Quality is more important to me.

I got my tent kit from HGT also and have been happy so far. I don't use a speed controler but am thinking about one. I understand that the controler helps with tent temps. Gotham hydro has cheaper prices and look like the same product. The back flap can make a great deal of differance in air flow, I leave mine wide open. The tent should look like it's being sucked in when doors closed for better smell control. The speed controler should have an amp rating and should work with the larger can fan.

Is the odor from the plant lighter or heavier than air? I assume lighter.

I have that same fan and speed controller it sounds like. The green Hydrofarm fan? And I got a Phat filter to go with it. Love the speed controller, it helps a lot. And yes as far as I know you can use bigger fans with that speed controller too.

I was reading that you should water until there is 10% runoff. Under my pots are clear saucers to capture that runoff. Should I let teh water stay and be used by the plant or dump it out?

I looked in the strain thread but didn't see what I was looking for. These AK47 really stink. What strain would you recommend if I want a head high using auto fem seeds that don't stink. Or at least not as bad as these. Thx

So after 77 days I cut her down. Not sure if I did it too early but its done. They will hang in the box for 3 days in total darkness. I still have the exhaust fan and filter on to keep down the stank. Then it will be time to cut these bitches up and cure.

Not too shabby for clay pots that were too small, MG soil and little knowledge.

I'll do better next time. I already have some 1.2 gallon superoot airpots for next time as well as pro form BX soil. Can I get a hell yeah?!
