Good Morning AFN! New grower been lurking for a while and thought I would officially drop my hat in the grow ring. Have found so much helpful info on here but thought I should officially make myself known for when the questions come up.

Well I've already started a few seeds and realized quickly that more research is better. First site I found said MG would be ok for soil. Well so far it's looking like not so much. In the meantime I've made a batch of LC's soil #2 and waiting for second round of seeds to grow enough to put them in there.
First seeds in MG were some Kera seeds I got from Herbie's. They have been transplanted but still really stunted after about 2.5 weeks. Not dead but not putting on size.
Dropped a Toof Decay in new soil and that bad boy is doing almost better than the other two at almost 3 weeks. Really excited for this one after seeing what some others have done with Mephisto seeds.
I'm using a Mars Hydro 300 plus I have 4 23w cfl's for the seedlings. Grow area now is 2x2 but might expand so thinking of grabbing another 300...

Any tips would be much appreciated!!

Sounds like your working your way through it. Keep on keeping on, you will succeed! Do you have a journal going? If not start one so we can follow along and see what you are up to. That's the best way for us to help out.

Thank everyone for making me feel welcome. Might start a journal in the next few days after my second LED comes in and I get everything set up for it. I'm sure you'll all have good advice for me once I get it posted - and I welcome all help!!
