I'm brand new to growing I've been tons of research on the webs. I've decided to go with a 48 inch tall grow kit with tent, 3 gallon plastic pots, Fox farm ocean forest soil, a bag of perlite, Fox farm bites (trio), fans (inline and circulating), my light is a t5 fluorescent 4 bulb 4ft long high output with extra 4 bloom bulbs, I also have an led red flowering light. I have a scrog wires, a humidity temperature clock inside the tent. Now my question is: is there any advice anybody can give me with stuff I need still methods feeding times etc etc. I'm growing four autos, white widow, 2 Viking ak 47, and NYC diesel all auto flower. I'll be starting a weekly grow journal every Saturday or Sunday starting this weekend from seed to finish.

OF soil. Good choice IMHO. No nutes for two weeks min. I go 2&1/2 weeks before first lite feeding. Mix it with another lighter soil, as it a heavy soil with tons on nutes in it. Some strains love the heavy nutes right of the bat and some don't. I would suggest erring on the side of caution, but thats just me. I've had much success with it. i agrea i put 1 part promix to every 3 parts ocean foresst. works great for me
I just put in more perlite to the ffof....every seedling has been ok with it. Although you can wait longer than 2 weeks to feed if your using it. I usually start in middle of third or 4th week.
I was thinking adding a bunch of perlite to each pot mixed with the soil and using nutes into the flowing stages at the minimum suggested feeding schedule because they're all auto flowers. Now another question too is should I upgrade my lights? I'm only growing for my personal medical use 4 at a time maybe up to 6 but many people say that fluorescents are garbage as well as led. For four plants I'm hoping to get at least three ounces maybe 4.
Should I skip to the tiger bloom and big bloom if it automatically starts from the flower? Also after I germinate them how much should I water my soil to begin with. Keep in mind I have 3 gallon pots. Is there a decent rule of thumb for watering in general? I started germination today for the 2 ak47, white widow, and NYC all auto with the same harvest time. Let's hope they all germinate!
