New guy. First attempt at auto’s

So I failed to get to my plant before lights on this morning. Still not sure I’ll chop today but I have a question. If I pulled it out of the tent and put it in a dark closet for a few hours could I harvest tonight? Is it bad to mess with it’s light schedule? I just happen to have time to do it tonight but I hear it’s bad to do after lights on in the morning

Well I chopped it this morning. Thanks again for the help along the way. Not a big haul but plenty for me until the next one is ready. 156.6g of good stuff wet. Trying the cardboard box drying method for the first time. It's in the box with some holes poked in it above the light in my tent. I have 3 auto's going in there now so hopefully next time is even better.

Last post for this one. Dried for 4 days, been in jars for 2. Good smoke but I’ll strive for better next time. 36.6g dried, enough for me and some buddies until the next one

niiiiiice! Way to gut it out mate, and she made some fine bud for you as a reward .... good thing you're in the best possible place to learn,....
Stay with soil, and try one of the "supersoil" mixes, like Mephisto/GBD's add-in soil amendment,... pretty much water only the whole grow! Some folks are trying SoHum soils too,... Biotabs is a great system as well, though overseas,.. this is what Mephisto uses on their farm! Point here is, KISS growing, you'll need few if any extra's,... some folks still add some supp' nutes during bloom to fatten them up even more, or because the soil is getting tapped out by small pot/big plants... Still have to monitor pH in-pot! .... GBD recommends Roots Organic soil, readily available usually,...

So I’ve been burping the jars for a few days and found a seed. Got me curious so I went through all the buds and found 3 more. Obviously a bunch a stress in it’s last few weeks caused it to hermie a bit. Glad I chopped when I did.
Good mild smoke by the way. Pulled a few small buds from the cure jars. Still tastes a bit green but after that it smells and tastes great
