Welcome!

Which breeder's WW? Just curious. A fair amount of buzz around Dinafem's XXL series but I have seen and heard about quite a few White Widow options....

I think you may be a bit optimistic on the size of allowed area for each plant at 12"x12"....I don't say this from a large amount of experience only from the
fact that my Dark Devil is about 29" in diameter.....I don't know but their may be an Auto White Widow that fits the bill for that reality.

Good Luck! Should be fun to watch!:Sharing One:

I would keep my ph at 6.2 to 6.7......

trapper...
I downloaded a grow guide from ilovegrowingmarijuana.com after a few conversations with the author Robert Bergman he informed me of his seed bank in the Netherlands. I purchased 40 WW autos thru his seed shop. ---I checked some seed bank reviews ...and he had some high marks for delivery and final yield...so I felt confident enough to give it a shot.
Also...I have alot of space in my grow room..hopefully if everything goes well - spreading out wont be a problem. Thanks for your input...its greatly appreciated!

Cool, sounds nice:)

I'm going to google around but if you have time, is there any kind of link to info about his (Mr. Bergman's) breeding endeavors?

NM, found it with no trouble....:)

I would keep ph as close to low 6's as possible. As the medium dries, the ph goes up through the sweet spot range up to 6.7 and back down again when you water. I would also use perlite in smartpots instead of vermiculite. LED and cfl need perlite in smartpots and HID need vermiculite in smartpots due to the heat. Just my own opinion having been there and done that. Sounds like a great plan, BUT, the best made plan wont get you laid!!! Have a backup plan, and dont be afraid to change things if they dont work for you. Welcome aboard to THE best canna site on the web!!

Thanks for your comments --Briman
Since I already have the vermiculite - would it be ok to do a vermiculite perlite mix? Maybe 1/2 gl of each to 4 gl of 707 soil?

Also....would it be a gd idea to add some straight perlite/vermiculite to the bottom of the smartpot before the soil mix ? I want to ensure the best drainage possible.

If you want the best drainage possible, then I would scrap the vermiculite and go 3/4 gallon of perlite to 4 gallons of medium. Mixing both in my opinion is not a good idea, but someone else might chime in on that. Vermiculite retains water and would go against smartpots and Led/cfl usage. You can try a pot with it, but I would have to say the perlite pots would yield a bigger crop due to air pruning by the pots and a more airy medium. Now to the bottom of the pot.....just use your medium mixed with perlite and you will be right as rain my man!! Save the vermiculite for your outdoor garden for veggies on the deck or window sill. Just my own opinion. BUT, you could try a pot with the way you want to mix it, and if you want to grow Trees, try it with the perlite.
Also, with a more airy medium, you will have to water more often, and that my friend is where you will get bigger yields as well. I grow in 5 gallon felt pots and have to water/feed every 3 days with led and every 2 days in flower. They drink THAT much!!! I had a grow last year, where he plants got so big in 5 gallon smartpots, I was watering every 2 days with 1 1/4 gallons of feed and was getting pissed it was so much work, but I wasn't bitchin at the end of the grow!!!!

Ok...good to know. Im lookin for tree trunks...not tooth picks : )

Ok...made some modifications to the soil mix ...as suggested by briman (perlite instead of vermiculite) Also added 2 cups of bonemeal, worm castings, and greensand....to every 1.5 cuft of roots 707.
Side note: was a bag short of soil due to miscalculation so the last four pots on the right are FFOF....will be interesting comparison between FFOF and roots 707.

WW seeds went in 2 days ago.....hoping for some signs of life soon : )
