Thanks for the info guys, looks like I'll be getting one of those for fathers day lol
I also noticed recently that just a small section of the tip of say 3 leaves have gone brown/yellow. But very small area.

I'll get more pics up soon as I can.

Just picked up some auto blueberry and cali haze autos. I'll get those up and running ASAP.

Hi Seasick

I'd usually associate yellow tips with a slight over feed, maybe reduce the amount of nutes you're adding and see if it stops. You didn't accidently water the leaf tips did you - or have they been able to lie on the wet soil? I;'ve done that in the past too.

Blueberry and cali hazes sound nice :) .. if i remember you have to get your soil and supples from the local garden centr right? If so, maybe try and get the lightest (nutirent wise) soil you can - I;ve used john Innes seedling starter soil for other (non canna) plants and it seems like it could be really nnice mixed with 30-40% perlite. See if we can get these next ones off to a super stong start with nicely PH'd soil and ticking all the boxes ^_^

YEah I did sprinkle them with water, that could be it I suppose.

Off to b and q for new supplies for blueberry autos.

Some john innes soil and perlite hopefully.
Gonna make sure I got everything I need before I start this one off and stick this other one in the garden.

John innes make a few different soils buddy :) make sure to have a good look at the packet first - i nearly got the wrong stuff myself :)

Gonna make sure I got everything I need before I start this one off and stick this other one in the garden.

That a plan! This next one's gonna rock for sure!

Cheers blue!

So can I Just start with my flower cfl and keep it the whole way through or go back to my veg ?

Sorry for bugging you

Dont worry mate, i'm not bugged ^_^

My opinion is you should go for the flowering bulb becuase you know it's new, and not sure how old the blue one is. If you can control the heat, you could always pop em both in there - you only need another plug connector (E40 i think) like this http://www.growing-life.com/shop/Propagation_Fluorescent_Lighting_CFLs_london.html

third one down costs only £10

Normally i would say start with blue if you want to get it right (and i'm sure the blue will help in veg) - but if you're feeling lazy just use the new Flowering bulb

edit.. BTW - i'm really looking forward to seeing you nail a grow seeing that you started your journey here and the early woes you've been through hehe

Ok guys and dolls, I'm just back with some john innes 1 and 2. NEw ph soil and water testers.. some perlite... And those little pots for seedlings that you can plant straight into a bigger one. Currently got 7 litre pots.. hopefully that's big enough for an AF blueberry.

So... With this plant at The min.. its saying ph levels are 6.0 which is showing acidic... Is that good or bad?
ALso it seems to be in pre flower... There is 2 wee green/white whispy things coming out each side of my stems.
The smell has also changed to more of a weed smell but still candy too.

The red Is starting to leave the stalks also.

Looks like the grow is a bust. Got a new blue light too.

ALready waiting for auto blueberry to germ.. gonna mix my soil and perlite when I get back from dinner to get her going.
So just gonna start with john innes number 1 for first two weeks then go on to number 2.

Do I need to start a new grow journal then?

Wish me luck guys lol
