Lol too late my friend! I was cutting the two start out leaves of my seedlings and made a mess... I chopped it all wrong and now I've one girl left. Which is the pic on my profile.

What do you mean cut off the 2 penut shaped leaves ?
My method of germing is put seeds in a glass of warm not hot water just drop in dont poke them leave for 12 to 24 hrs in boiler room then tap seeds with your finger and they should sink regardless if they sink or not put them on , saucer paper towel seeds paper towel saucer , to make a seed sandwich into the boiler cupboard give a wee schoosh of water every 6 hrs and normally in 24 to 36 hrs you'll see tails then plant job done bro

Hey mate, you shouldn`t mess around(and definately not cut any thing!) with your seedlings. They are are very delicate when young and need everything left alone!

I've never germinated with a paper towel or glass of water. My supreme laziness comes into play even at this stage in the game lol. When using soil, i would
If i use coco, it's preyy much the same although i pop my seed into an expanded jiffy puck (already in the top of full pot of coco) and lightly sprinkle with coco.
The reason i do this is because i'm not really bothered about watching a tail come out, i just presume it will, and the less moving you do with the seed, the less chance there is of doing it damage. To this day, i've never had a seed not germ for me

- fill up the pot, give it a water and leave it for a couple of hours,
- go back to it with a pencil and poke a little hole in the middle about 1cm deep,
- drop in my seed,
- sprinkle some light loose soil over the top
- give it a tiny little spray
- pop my top third of the coke bottle on it
- stick it under my lights (75-80f seems to do the trick)
- come back 4 - 5 days later (although your bound to check every day anyway ... "is it here yet?")

when it comes to germination everybody does it different with equal success. im a glass of water+paper towel method kinda guy.
i use a bit of Blues method as well, i germ as above but jiffy plug them once the tail comes out and then put them in a propogater(Blues coke bottle) till i see roots come out the sides, then into the pot.
