Just another quick question guys please... I was told when I purchased my auto fem double gum seeds that It would only take them 45 to 50 days to flower and only grow to about 2 foot?

Any truth in this at all ?

hi brother. Good advice from Blue. I'll refrain from givin any since am not quali yet, except to take it from other peeps on here. From what ive picked up they'l only go that quick if u make them? Could be wrong but its nute based, give it flowerin nutes early n they'l go early. So much for not givin advice.

Who is the breeder? Also, keep in mind, most of the time flowering quotes are from breeders under optimum conditions. If your seeds say 45-50 I would count on a little longer sometimes a week to two. Sometimes 2+ weeks to get the bud where you want it. Hi Dee if its a cfl get it as close as possible mate , like 4 to 6 inches away from the top of the seedling mate , even closer if its not to hot and curling up the leaves

Ps, dont go bye what the seed packet says mate your plant will take no less than 70 days and can go well over 100days in a bigger pot start to finish

Just checking in and looked at your new avatar piccy¬ - Looks nice and healthy, ignore the crispiness comment, think it was just the light on the leaves Personally i like to wait until i have a couple of sets of leaves before i take away my coke bottle top and start lowering the light to within inches, but you can certainly get close with CFLS. I'm cuatious when they're very little.

If your light looks white, i would hazard a guess at it being a blue spectrum lamp. If i were you, i'd double check this with your mate, and if so get yourself a flowering CFL - it will fit in the same socket and you could get a 200w for a bit more ooomph! ^_^

Also, can someone help me, since I put the coke top over it. The soil underneath has started to turn green.. is this ok or bad ?

Welcome welcome welcomeand it looks like your off to a good starts....there's alot of smart growers here bro....so you will have no problems .......and the only thing that i would add is to water by feel of your pots i'm a new grower my self and its one of the most important skills a grower needs..... and is it me or does it look like Blue is really looking at you i even moved my head and it looks like her eyes followed me...lol it's most be the weed....
