I had to get rid of it because it was only a half leaf.. for some reason it withered away..

lol - nooo, she wont smell for a while yet! Not of cannabis anyway - just a kind of veggy smell if its hot and humid
Buttt - to keep your girl happy, if you haven't already got a carbon filter, i would get one! They will start to smell a tiny bit in a couple of weeks, and into flower theres no telling how much they're gonna stink! I've had plants that hardly smell at all and plants that absoluitely hum when i open my growcab door!

Ah she's never happy... Another wee questions please... Ifi I start the flowering lamp now at around 13 days, would it have a better chance to produce better?
I would say yes, only because there's no telling how old the blue lamp you got from your mate is and you know the flowering bulb is fresh. I also remember hearing somewhere that a flowering bulb puts out more lumens per watt that a veg .. but that may have been between HPS and Metal Halide.
