I've been using it for about a year off an on. I used it last year then the store I got it at quit carrying it. Just recently found it about 50 miles from my home and started using it again. I was a Happy Frog user, but always seemed to get gnats with it. I really like Potters Gold. I haven't had a gnat problem once. It's not very hot, I plant directly to the soil, my seedlings have come up fine. It absorbs feedings very nice. I usually start feeding light at about 14 days. With the Happy Frog I was feeding around 3 weeks in. The guy that developed the soil has always answered any questions I had very promptly too. Ihave 3 grows on the Mephisto section, they are all in Potters Gold.
Ive been doing "ok" using 
OF planting directly in the soil. I had to add more lime to buffer it so i think its ok now. but I feel like i can get a better soil than and im to lazy to make my own super soil.. maybe next year ill buy some potters gold.
