Hello AFN,
I figured I start off here and plant the seed so to speak. I am new to auto’s and growing in small spaces. Now that Canada changed its game, I figured I would too and try auto’s. To keep it short as possible, my grow size will be a 2X2.5X6.11 gorilla tent and a 2x2x2 quick tent for veg to keep a perpetual cycle. I have two different LED lights I will be trying in the gorilla tent. I know kind isn’t a favourite for some but I got a brand new k3 l300 for super cheap from a friend who bought a couple (will be trying first) and also purchased an optic 2 while on sale. The new endeavour is exciting but a bit intimidating at the same time. I have so many questions and so many mixed opinions to sift through. I appreciate you guys allowing me into the community and I’m sure will have a ton of questions that I hope you all can possibly help with. Thanks again

Recently joined myself. It is intimidating isn't it. You'll find great help here. On my first introductory post (just from a picture) a member gave me some advice about my plants and I've seen instant results! I have the Optic 4 in a 4x4. Good to see another Optic user at least - compare notes?

@ion I just keep running all these variables through my mind over and over and may just go with a experimental first grow for my autos as far as pot size and how many plants for my space. I don’t have any pictures of anything yet as I’m waiting to get back from vacation to start my germination process. I have heard good things and know a few people with both kind and optic LED setups but am excited to compare grows and end results. Even though that’s getting ahead of myself quite a bit. I have been reading @archie gemmill threads on the 1 gallon air pots and it gives me hope for some of my plans. Thanks for the response and keep on growing.

Hey @Blamo and welcome to AFN... don't worry dude your in good hands now your at AFN, we are all here to help and see you to that all important harvest... if you do need a hand don't hesitate to tag me (@Slater) always willing to help out where I can... nice job on getting a cheap KIND (they are well over priced), they are the best of what we call the "Burple" lights so you should do rather well with it... intresting in seeing that optic 2 in action.

So what strains have you got for your first AFN grow?

I have been reading @archie gemmill threads on the 1 gallon air pots and it gives me hope for some of my plans.

Then use @archie gemmill as your Tag in staff...I know he will be delighted to share his info with you...

Sometimes there is Too Much info out there...so get it straight from the horses mouth...

Thank you all for the kind words and the warm welcome. @STILLSMOKIN it seems like he’s got a pretty decent system going on for those and I’m interested to see the result on the second attempt. @Slater ive heard mixed things about the kind lights but at the price I got it I couldn’t not buy it and then the optic as a back up or even a second tent not sure yet. As for strains I have to many options at the moment. I was thinking of growing 3 to 4 depending on pot size I choose but may grow all the same strain in mixed between 2/3/5 gallon to see the difference. I have some Himalaya blue diesel, black cream blueberry and night queen as far as multiples of 3-5 seeds. All my other strains are single seeds or doubles of rarer or just freebies I received. Six shooter,alien triangle, amnesia haze, cheese, fruit punch, dark purple and gorilla shizzle. So could go random and see what I like or more controlled as in 1 strain.sorry for the lengthly roll call. @Mossy no joke there is so much info on autos it overwhelms me, I’m pretty happy to have found this place and am sure I will like it here. @the green bandit and I won’t try and shy away from help, this is all about learning and growing as a person and a plant lol.
