Kind soil goes on the bottom of the pot, roots soil above it.

yup, what worked the best for me and prolly one of the best ways overall is to mix 2.2 or 2.5LBs of kind soil to an equal amount(2.5LBs) of roots or bagged soil.then mix it really well. then use that as the bottom layer. so all your doing is mixing an equal amount of roots soil and kind soil together and pack the bottom half of the pot,then fill it with roots the rest of the way and water on garth lol
