New Grower New to autos. need poormans tips soil, lights, nuts, tlc tricks.

I have done a very successful photo grow's but i am aimin at autos this year. i have a poorman knowlegde from normal flowering cannabis. what should i change. again this is hardly 70 bucks worth on thislist. sorry a bit ripped atm

I use 6 40w cfl 6500k for veg an 5 40w cfl 2700k for flower

mircale grow organic choice potting soil. 100% was no different then a mix of backyard soil 50% to mircale grow OC 50%

tinfoil all around. i waas amazed at how well my photo grows have done. will the auto produce ok or am i gonna get stuck with eighth size grows every time?
 
my strains are auto sweet skunk devil cream and auto red posion from sweet seeds
 
Welcome to AFN. First thing I would suggest is dumping the Miracle Grow for something more auto friendly. The slow release nutrients and water holding polymers in MG products play havoc with them. Under CFLs with their lower heat I would suggest some Pro Mix HP or Sunshine #4. Also ditch tin foil and go with mylar or flat white paint. Tin foil doesn't reflect the light evenly and can create hot spots. Autos require good control over your pH. If you don't have one already, I would suggest investing in a good liquid pH meter like the Hanna combo. It can be used to pH your nutrient feeds as well as checking the pH of your run off to ensure your soil pH is in the proper range.
 
look at the organic choice. i dont think it has what u are talking about. i am aware of that, i dont use just any mirical grow
 
I've used it myself in the past and saw first hand how crappy it is. Do a search for Miracle Grow and you'll see the problems our members have had trying to grow autos in it. All Scotts products should be avoided when growing autos. More trouble than they are worth, especially when there are products readily available designed specifically for growing cannabis.

Sir if you have 70 dollars to spend I suggest another hobby. I believe this forum is about how to do things right, not cheap. Were not arabs here. Can we not wait a freakin week for a paycheck to buy an HPS. You know.. instead of half assing everything. Do I need to find another forum, how can people entertain the idea of a 70 dollar grow. Im trying to help you man, by telling you wait. Stop. Your too poor. Wait for a damn week or two for a paycheck. MG is shit. Its been noted on every forum. Nothing is different you can give em 24hr light but they like darkness as they start flowering.

Your going to yield however much you yield, its strain dependent and conditions. Did you vedge your photos for 2 years or 3 weeks??. then I can tell you size.

Tin foil is hugely mistaken from movies as something to use. White is better for the inside of a grow room if you cant afford mylar.

Potting mix is generally a shot in the dark and you don't know how hot it is. I use coco. Its 2014. And I use technaflora too. At half strength.

Dude, save your pesos for a month so when you start your grow your content, serious, and ready. A fire extinguisher is going to run you over your 70 dollar budget! How are you going to buy seeds, misc, lighting, soil, nutes, pots, time.

Dude actually this forum is for helping people not bashing them he said that was only 70 bucks worth on the list and he's tight for cash he's just tryna work with what he gots so let's try to keep the helpful info and advice coming on soil, lighting, etc, instead of just telling him that he can't do it"My 2 cents"
