And I'd ditch the tin foil and just use mat white paint on any surface. Tin foil can create hotspots on the plants and rips easy.

Hi there ebay is your friend you may get an used old set up for about $168.01 I got an used set up for that price when i first started but if you do not have a lot of cash then clf 200w or an 400w light and shade and a fan and carbon filter and paint the walls white and some pots and soil .

or do one auto in
Deep Water Culture System (DWC) pot and pump would cost you $40.00 and feeds $30 for grow and bloom then a light you can pic one up for $50 and paint the walls but you still need a fan and carbon filter to get the smell and heat out I think you can do it for about $200 or less

very true there we all have to start some where with journey in life.

yes cash is tight for all of us and as a forum we all try and help each other out it more than a forum we all un night together as growers to grow personal smoke for are self and not deal with shady people yes its tight on the money but he may be able to get some of the things he need each week or month or look at a pc case grow

Ive had success with this stuff.Bought local for about 2-4 USD a bag at Ace or True Value.Look around.fair soil ,cheap and effective.watchout for the oldschool nail they keep in some of em too.LOL!

I know from buy this stuff and using it over the years you can have a pretty decent grow for roughly 70 bucks if you look around local for some of these products.The key is with soils n perlites n such.ZERO additives such as Mircle grow additives n such.none of that.so look around locally and as for the pot.atleast a 3-5 gallon size with 5-8 drain holes that are decent size.poke about at yer local nursery.and that is a decent start for a cheap Auto grow that'll have good or even GREAT yeilds for you first auto grow.seeds,well thats a different story. but Ihope this help you decide on what to get an where to look around locally forsome of this stuff.Ive used these products for well over a year with pretty darned good results too.esp, if youve got some grows under you.hope this is helpful dude.

for £60 you can get a 250w hps off Ebay, im not advertising here just trying to help out. im sure there are cheaper ones on there thats a good start then over the coming weeks stock up on good nutrients, buy a bottle of bio bizz a week off the internet you can get them for 6 pounds. slowly build up your setup this way. thats what i did , i now have a 600wled a tent and all the stuff i need. sure its taken me years literally but i have the set up i need and like . it functions to my purposes but took a long time to do. if you were to get a 250w hps for 50 you could then get an extraction fan "4 and build a carbon filter. good luck man just ignore people who tell you not to do it due to pricing any grow is a learning curve :Sharing One:

The one thing you DONT want to cut costs on is the compost. Get good organic compost.

Your CFL wattage is the minimum needed, IMO, i used a 250W CFL for 6 grows and got good results, you have had success with photos under CFL i think ? If so then you know all about keeping the lamp very close to the canopy (6 inches or less).

I got four ounces using 250W of CFL but i had good organic soil and nutes, i also had Mylar but now i use conti-board, the white wood that kitchen-fitters use, so flat white paint is great as long it's not a patchy paint job, even works on cardboard!

You can get great results with autos and CFLs and without spending shitloads of cash.

I did it on the cheap and working very well...here you go Reflector for the walls..any dollar store sells mylar sun shelids for cars..$10 will cover alot, Cheap 4 socket light bathroom wall fixture from H. depot, $15, 2 pieces of 6inch stove pipe for light reflector/hood $10, 4 light splitters (now you have 8 sockets) $10, and 8 32w cfls (4-2700 / 4-6500). I bought good soils and nutes from fox farm you just can't skimp on that but did the whole thing for under $100....Amnsia haze from royal queen $6, Afgan exspress from Photoronics $5 and Max auto from Dr. Krippling $6.. looks to be almost a half pound when drid between the 3..LST EVERYTHING..
