New Grower New to indoors and Autos

I have a similar situation in my outdoor grow box where I'm pulling air directly in from outdoors, down the the low 20s at night most of the winter. After trying several things, here's what I finally got that is working great: http://www.qcsupply.com/commercial-...mount-variable-speed-controller-110-volt.html. It automatically speeds up or slows down my fan to maintain the set temperature. Now my temps stay between 77 and 82. Of course, my box is insulted so that helps a lot. I use a small space heater during lights out to keep the temps up then.

If you haven't seen this yet, give it a read. It will give you a better idea of what to expect from your plants. https://www.autoflower.org/f44/life-cycle-auto-flowering-cannabis-5113.html
I can order one of those if need be but im still not sure how to set everything up. Im using a small space heater with a thermostat built in it. using oscilating fan. then like i said have 440cfm fan and filter and a few smaller fans also. but no matter what the outside of tent will be cold and inside warm. I cant grasp what I need to do to fix this. what if i built small room to put tent in? or put layers of insulation on outside of tent. Im just lost at moment thought everything was going great.(and it is compared to my first photo indoor grow). I miss spring already lol.

Putting insulation around the tent would be effective but might be hard to do. If you were to try that I would suggest rigid insulation over fiberglass. Would be easier to work with in your situation. Make sure to put some under the tent as well. Any chance you could insulate the shed? That would certainly help. Maybe move the tent into a corner where it would be easier to put rigid insulation of those two sides. Go to my profile and check my albums. I've got picture of my outdoor box there. That might give you some ideas.

Right on bro, stay tuned because they will be available in the not too distant future from what I understand.

hey rdeaton.

some jems are already available from a trusted/approved seller by mossy.

dragons should be available soon (everyone is waiting to tame their dragons).

Are u seriously thinking about insulating your tent. You know I'll help. Does anybody know other alternatives that are good like an absorbent or wouldn't a dehumidifier even work.

Muddy, there is no way to insulate building, it way to big and it made more like a barn than building. I could possibly build a room in the corner. I guess in future I will, just busy all the time now. I have some other grow boxes 1.5x3x5 feet tall. I use them for starting and cloning. Maybe I could throw 2 of them together. If I was in wood box instead of tent would that fix it? Thinking maybe the wood would draw the moisture out. Also anyone ever used the Rock salt and kitty litter filter for humidity?

I doubt a wood box would be effective unless it were insulated. Without insulation to keep the warm and cold air separated you would still likely get condensation. I'd be tempted to try some rigid insulation. It's not very expensive and pretty easy to work with. Cover the top, bottom, back and both sides and have a removable piece on the front so you have access.

The RH is 38% and holding. daytime temps 78 nighttime temp gonna drop to 70. as of right now that the best I can do for it. I just added alot more airflow,(opened bottom vents in tent).

Sorry for not updating lately but Ive been working out of town. When I came home the plants were dried out, all the leaves laying down and dying. I fed and watered them really good monday, maybe too good because have small nute burn. But anyway here are a few pics of them now.

Spicey White Devil (photo) is first on left, the next 2 are the Amphetamine, the 2 after that is Vertigo, and the last is the Afghan Kush Ryder. The B. Lee is still looking rough so waiting a few more days before I update it.
