@hecno is in Oz check out his grows, for using alternative products. If you are really stuck, good quality tomatoes nutrients work. Now you are on autopots in soil, which will be easier and more forgiving, stick with it. You will get set backs still, but learn from them, nurse failed plants to the end, they are great for practicing and learning. @archie gemmill has a very simple nutrient system using biobizz, if you can get that there.
Have they been through a good cold period? If not, put them in an air tight container along with some rice or other desiccant. Some place in the fridge, other's the freezer. Then there is scarification, soaking and the paper towel method, (which it wouldn't surprise me if you havne't already heard this, but just my 2 cents)!

Rice keeps the moisture out! I put the seeds I make in rice right away and before refrigeration I replace with new rice (to make sure everything stays nice and dry)! If they get damp/wet, they won't be viable and you'll have germination failure!
