Wasup' 420 friends;
My name is Slickherb and I've been doing reefer thing for close to 50 years but am new to the cultivation thing. I have some auto seeds that you don't have to change lighting schedules. I have kush ryder and NL x big bud. I wanting to know the best light schedule for them. I've read conflicting times from 18/6, 20/4, and 24/0. I'm using t-5 lights and wonder how much light is needed,and what color is best. Any advice will be appreciated.
Keepin' It Real,
Slickherb

Welcome to AFN buddy :Sharing One: 18-6 or 20-4 seem to be the most popular lighting schedule,with 24-0 mainly used with members who struggle with low temps through the winter. :thumbs: we have a t5 section here which may answer some of your other questions mate https://www.autoflower.org/f101/

Hi slick welcome to the afn show!

I would give 20/4 but whats best depends on the genetics and the amount of light given!
More light means more bud, the color-spectrum that's best depends on the stage of the plant!
daylight (5000 K) and cool/blue (6500 K) during veg and warm/red (2700 K), full spectrum or daylight (5000 K) during bloom!

While your getting ready to crack those beans, be sure to check out the new growers forum. The stickies at the top of the page are packed with good info.
The first few links in my signature will take you to what I believe are must read subjects.
Good luck, and Happy Growing! :grin: :peace:
