Lighting Newbie needing some help

I think for the amount you're going to spend on the light you'll be getting quality. You just have to grow it well after that. I think with growing autos and using 18/6 you'll be fine.

The rule at the moment is 30 watts per square foot so for a 3x3 it would be 270 watts. But when you consider light schedule and daily light integral, cannabis typically requires 45DLI or so. I would assume that light probably puts out around 800ppfd which even as you get out of the strongest point of light will still be adequate.
Thank you for all the info and for helping me out, I appreciate it, I took your advice and got the V2 3000K

Glad I stumbled upon your thread. I'm in the same boat as you and need to figure out what I would like to do with lighting. I have everything else sorted out, kinda lol. I'm more of a plug and play type of guy. Don't mind spending a few extra bucks.

I'm growing in a 4x4 tent. Any recommendations besides the ones already mention to OP? Money isn't an issue( within reason of course). Sorry to hijack your thread, just figured it be easier just to ask my question in here instead of creating a whole entire thread. Good Luck with your grow OP!

No Worries i got my light, it was actually a DIY kit but very easy to put together. I have heard some good stuff about Electricsky and mammothlighting but they are a bit more expensive ( both LED). Im still a newb so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can com,e and help you out :)
