Gee..That's a tough one. Since I've only grown indoors with my Super Box. All my threads seem to out line the pros and cons of the Super Box. There is only 7 sqft of space in there. Two plants max and the need to LST is a good idea. The unit came with a hydro system, but I've never used it. Soil grows throughout. The Super Box is sturdy all metal. Looks like a medium size file cabinet. Solid door and hinges. Comes with an Odor Sox and a 200w "Blue" cfl. I've added extra lighting by using power strips that I've glued a large magnet so I can move the lights around. Right now I'll be using a 300w Dual Spectrum cfl. Side lighting as needed. I wish that I could get a larger unit to do my grows, but that isn't happening.

It's been a nice set-up and I've gotten got results from it. Actually better than I thought.

The Super Box is the smallest of the Super Cabinets. Paid a bit too much for it, however that's because I got the hydro set up and it doesn't come w/o it.

First Peek of Nirvana Blue Mystic

Blue Mystic "A" is now 8 days old. One gallon Smart pot; under 300w Feliz Dual Spectrum cfl.



Watered her this morning. Added 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of Super Thrive. She's taken a good quart of water every second day. Water then two days later; water again. Always do a WET/DRY cycle.

This is my 1st Blue Mystic grow. I've read that she finishes fast. No matter what, its gonna be at least an eight week to ten week grow. She's all set now to begin her journey.

DAY FOURTEEN 1st FEED

Blue Mystic is 14 days old. Gave her 1/2 strength Technaflora Recipe for Success plus 1/2 strength Root 66. I use molasses in place of Sugar Daddy. It seems to work just as well. The FEED going in was 6.6 and the run off was 6.6. Not too bad. The one gallon Smart Pot is only taking a slight quart of water/feed before I get a good run off. Watering now every other day. She's now under a 300w Feliz Dual Spectrum that's throwing off a good amount of heat. The cabinet inside temps are between 80F-82F even with the den at a cool 70F. I have two small fans in cabinet moving the air around. One is just skimming the top of the Blue Mystic and the other oscillating fan on the cabinet floor. The Blue Mystic is raised off the cabinet floor by 3 upside down nursery pots. On top of the 3 nursery pot is a 1" nursery grate and the Smart Pot is resting on top of a clay saucer. She's around 6-8 inches from the light.

I follow the RfS schedule of FEED-WATER-WATER as for soil/soilless medium. Keeping the pH in the 6.2-6.8 range. Always do a wet/dry cycle.
