Baby Blue Mystic Popped

Proud father of a "Baby" Blue Mystic. She popped her head out sometime between 7 AM this morning and 3 PM this afternoon. Right on schedule. I planted her directly into soil that is in a red Solo cup. No soaking, no moist paper towel. Just pushed her into the soil (Combo of Coco Loco and Happy Frog) and four days she popped. Nice green newbie green.

I need to grow one plant after another on this Blue Mystic. "Baby" Blue is exactly 4 week younger than her big sister. Also she's on the cusp of the Full Moon. I like to start my grows on the Full Moon phase. It's easy to figure out how old the plants are by the moon phases.

Also LST'd "Big" Blue's main cola this afternoon.

"Baby" Blue Mystic has popped and is under a 42w Spiral "Blue" (Day Light). 18/6 time cycle.
She's in a Solo drink cup. "Baby" is now starting in my den closet until she gets big enough to be put into the Super Box. I just may keep her in the closet and just let her go. Haven't decided yet what I'll do. Anyway, she's popped w/o soaking or paper towel method.

Have to admit that it was nerve racking waiting for her to pop. I have always pre soaked/paper towel germination method. "Baby" was just pushed into the moist soil and in 4 1/2 days she showed her face. I believe that I'll be doing this method from now on. No stress on the germed seed and easy peesy.

I always say that every day counts in the life of an auto ... can you imagine how important hours are to a sprout ... when germinated in soil the roots have the opportunity to start digging in the moment the seed pops ... many people let the root get to be a 1/2" or more before they plant the seed ... I think that's a lot of time wasted that the seedling could have been started and on it's way but instead it's waiting for the grower to put the seed into soil or whatever medium is being used. Looking forward to seeing what you do w/ Nirvana's auto Blue Mystic ... ...

Nirvana Blue Mystic Growers

Nirvana Blue Mystic growers. Need some advise. My "Big" B/M is coming along fine. She's going into the 5th week from popping out of the soil. She's starting to get "hairy" and still green. My questions are. When did you all start the FLOWER nutrients. Nirvana and other sites say B/M will finish @ 6-7 weeks. Her bud sites are small. She hasn't got to anywhere near the "blue" tone in the leaves. I've done one gallon Smart pot grows before and the plants were just as big as if they were grown in larger containers. She seems a little runty. I'll have pictures later on, but I just needed to post this thread to get the advise ball rolling.

What is the finish time?
Were your B/M's height on the small side?
Did your B/M turn "Blue"?
Main cola seems that she'll fill out, but side branches have tiny bud sites..Normal?

6-7 weeks of Flower ... Generally about 10 weeks total ...

Were your B/M's height on the small side?
They vary from 10"-24" of plant above ground ... my last topped 30" ...

Did your B/M turn "Blue"?
I think I saw some blue once ... it's in the buds and you really have to use your imagination ...


Main cola seems that she'll fill out, but side branches have tiny bud sites..Normal?
I have never not been satisfied w/ the yield on a blue mystic ...
The last couple weeks of flower can be impressive in their growth ... so I'd say normal ...

U B da best. Count on Chester to come thru. Got your PM; not to concerned after seeing your B/M grow. "Big Girl Blue" is still a pretty thing. Not like any Indica I've grown.

Baby Blue is coming along nicely. She's in the den's closet under a 42w Day Light. Going to put her in her one gallon Smart Pot soon and then let her join her big sister. I'd like to keep her in the den's closet. Be like the old days when you 1st tried to grow weed in your room. That may be a good thread. Retro Cannabis Grow.

Toke Note: Got turned on to some Kandy Kush today. My my was that tasty. That's a strain that's on my Wish List.

Big Blue FLOWER Cycle & Baby Blue Transplanted in One Gal Smart/Pot

Big Blue has started her FLOWER nutrient cycle. Second night of the Full Moon (call me crazy) and she needed a good feeding. Big is still under the 300w Feliz Dual Spectrum. Took the Odor Sok out of the unit. First no need for this grow, plus I need a new one or something better. The negative pressure of the Smart Box has improved. The inside temp has been reduces by 5 degrees. The inside temp is running 75F-78F during the day (Lights On) and 65F-70F during the night (Lights Off). She is also drinking over a 1/2 gallon on water/nutrient soulution in a day or so. I watered her yesterday AM and today she was going dry. I totally saturate the soil at every watering, then wait till she's dry. Lift pot method and professional moisture meter give me the info on when to water. She also has that slight droopy look before irrigation.

Baby Blue was in a red Solo cup to germ. She's 4 days old and I transplanted her :no: into a one gallon Smart Pot. I realize that transplanting is a No-No for an autoflower. She was transplanted very gently by cutting the red Solo cup and then resting her in the wet/moist soil. Watered her well with 1/2 strength Root 66. Baby is still in the Retro Den Closet Grow. Just waiting to figure out if I'll keep her in there or when she gets bigger put her in with her big sister. My wife has gotten used to my grows and hasn't said anything about the Retro Den Closet Grow. "Dancing Psiren". I have more than enough cfl lighting to do the Retro Grow. Will keep you all posted.

Help me make up my mind on the Retro Den Closet Grow?

No! Are you freaking nuts! How many of these Pot plants do you need. I'm not turning my home into a green house and having the whole house smell like a skunk den.

Lol, thats a difficult one baylea, my wife has only just given in and let me try and grow, i am pretty sure if i was to push it and start to take the house over she will put her foot down and make my a life misery on so many different levels, i am glad its a decision only you can make.

Okay. I got a one week reprieve on my Den Closet Grow. Gonna let Baby do her thing and get a little bigger and then join her with Big Sis. (Hee hee hee...That's what she thinks....So I sleep on the sofa for a few nights. My beagle dog wouldn't mind and I'll at least have some time to think up something to keep Baby Blue in the closet.)

Chester, That Retro Grow would also be two Gro Lux lights and a five gallon bucket with Miracle Grow..
