Lol, thats a difficult one baylea, my wife has only just given in and let me try and grow, i am pretty sure if i was to push it and start to take the house over she will put her foot down and make my a life misery on so many different levels, i am glad its a decision only you can make.

Forty years of married bliss can get you through four weeks of Den Closet grow.

Nirvana Blue Mystic growers. Need some advise. My "Big" B/M is coming along fine. She's going into the 5th week from popping out of the soil. She's starting to get "hairy" and still green. My questions are. When did you all start the FLOWER nutrients. Nirvana and other sites say B/M will finish @ 6-7 weeks. Her bud sites are small. She hasn't got to anywhere near the "blue" tone in the leaves. I've done one gallon Smart pot grows before and the plants were just as big as if they were grown in larger containers. She seems a little runty. I'll have pictures later on, but I just needed to post this thread to get the advise ball rolling.

Summary:

When do you start FLOWER nutrients?
What is the finish time?
Were your B/M's height on the small side?
Did your B/M turn "Blue"?
Main cola seems that she'll fill out, but side branches have tiny bud sites..Normal?

Hey BL, I've read that the Blue likes cool temps to show off her bluish tints. I have never seen her leaves turn blue. I have seen parts of the flowers turn. My uVB bulb brings it out nicely but it doesn't last.
I've had a few different phenos and they all differed in size from stubbies to 3'. The one thing they all had in common was the neutral odor up to the last weeks.
I've been using tabs and changing them after 4 weeks if flowering is on schedule. 6-7 weeks is wishful thinking under optimum conditions.
I've always had unfulfilled popcorn on the inner nodes and lower shaded branches. So I'm in the habit of harvesting in layers, Cola first, than a week+ later the next layer down, then the real popcorn takes a couple weeks to fill out into small smokable buds..

BIG SIS Week 5 Narvana Blue Mystic



Blue Mystic starting her 5th week from seed. Started FLOWER nutrients last watering. Super Box inside temp has improved since taking out the OdorSok. It's running around 72F-78F Lights on and 62F-68F off.

The main cola has been LST'd to 90 degrees. Velcro strips used and they are super easy to use.

Just waiting for her to flower up now.

Baby Blue is doing well also. She's a week old. I'll be posting her pics soon. She's still in the Den Closet Grow under a 125w Day Light cfl.

Can't get enough of seeing their knickers ... the next five weeks should be fun and exciting ... it will be good to have a photo record of a near perfect auto Blue Mystic grow ... ought to link it to Nirvana's comment section ... I smoked some of my hot weather Blue Mystic recently and I was very impressed w/ how potent it is ... nice mellow high .... smooth taste ( 6 month cure ) a fat 'j' got me off 3 times .

Chester, Your B/M's are a much better grow than Big Sis. I know that she'll fill out, but your B/M's are pretty nice looking. I'll see when she's all finished and then I'll take a look at a Nirvana post.

I wish I had enough grows behind me to get to a 6 month cure. It's been pretty much a Vape and Grow set up. When I'm finishing my stash the next grow is ready to Vape. That's why I'm trying to do a new approach. Every 4th week I'll start a new plant and just keep the grows going. The Super Box can only hold two two gallon Smart Pots and LST is a must. I'd like to get a bigger set up, but just don't have the space or the $$$$$. Happy with my grows so far...Never thought I'd get the yields and great vape bud that I've been lucky to have. The Den Closet Grows are just an emergency set up to get them ready for the Super Box.

Sadly, most of my grows are plagued by deficiencies from about week 6 on and it's usually operator error ... I need to start taking notes plus I haven't had a grow at home in over a year ... visiting the plants every 3-4 days allows things to get ahead of me ... I know this will be a beautiful plant ... have you ever considered your attic or basement for a grow ? My friend in NY has a similar climate ... I'd love to try growing in his basement in the summer. Getting ahead on meds is one the greatest joys of growing ...

Baby Blue Mystic Nine Days Old




Baby Blue Mystic is 9 days old. Under a 125w "Blue" cfl. Water pH has been 6.3-6.8 (IN) and the pH OUT has been in the same range. Watering every other day, still doing a Wet/Dry Cycle. Den's closet temps have been 75F-81F range with lights ON. Ten degrees less when lights O.

Hey Bay - You need to upload the photos to an album. Once you have - you can click the picture in the album and it will give you 2 boxes on the right hand side below the piccy.

If you copy and paste the BBCode from one of the boxes into your post - it comes out big when you hit the post button!

It also means that if you delete an album, it deletes all the pictures from that album and the pictures in the posts that came from the BBcode
