Don't know if this is worth a new thread like but I'll put it out there,, always had a really high germination rate with seeds practically 100% but with nirvana blue mystic only got 4 out of 10,, been using paper towel method, just wonderin if anyone else has had such a low germination rate??

Not me, I just got 10-10 out of seeds over 1 year old, I've grown Mystic before and really
don't remember the rate, but think it was good. I always soak in shot glass with tap water
after leaving it out over night. I started using root-riot plugs on this grow and I am really
impressed, 1 seedling died, I didn't sink deep enough and root got exposed.

I've had a lot of germination problems using the soaking or paper towel methods. The last 3 seeds we just planted straight to soil. All 3 sprouted within 3-4 days. I think I'm sold on this old fashioned way.
So it's just me then!! I've just had 100% with TD Nl and somango just blue mystic don't wanna sprout, maybe I've let the packet get wet or something, I got them cos of all the good reviews so it will be something I'm doing more than like likely, any tips on how to increase germ rate??
