New Grower NL First Time Grow... Total Newb

Heat stress, hmmm that could happen, but after holding my hand under the cfl Im using it doesnt get hot.. Its just a 100 watt equivalent cfl bulb in a desk lamp over the plants about 6 inches... I did use to have them around 4 inch away...

I cant wait til my big light setup comes, one cfl per plant has me worried about not enuff lighting.. I hope the 600w mh/hps setup will fix that...

I went to baby/examine my plants today and before my eyes was a blue tailed lizard chilling in on of my pots.. Will these critters damage em?

I don't think blue bellys eat veggys, but they love bugs! sounds like mother nature sent an exterminator your way.

Well thats cool, he ran off but I sure hope he comes back..

I have thought about catching a praying mantis to put around my plants... I heard they do a fine job..

Update

Just a small update with 1 picture, but on the other hand I have began to notice a real smell.

Im cool with that, seems to be easily taken care of.. I also spread some dried eggshells around my plant. I heard it works, not really gonna go into the science of things, but I heard the plants like it. If anyone knows why are whats in the eggshells, fire away. It may help someone and me..

Well enuff with the babbling heres a picture..

I also just seen that I have some curling.. I am clueless on why, I have the CFL pretty far away from the leaves..

Who knows?

Don't sweat it zip, she looks healthy. It could be a number of things, at that age the slightest thing will create leaf curl. If you try and fix it I guarantee you will make it worse. That is normal for that age.

As for the egg shells, normally you crush them up and put them in the soil but I suppose on top will work as they get washed down. It is for calcium supplementation. Egg shells are made of calcium and as they break down they will slowly leach calcium into the soil. As a tomato farmer, I have used egg shells for years. I bury mine about 4" under when I transplant them in the spring and the roots will grow around them and absorb the calcium.

Thanks a420er, Ill keep that in mind.. I appreciate everyones comments and help just as much as I enjoy seeing what this plant does when it grows..

I know Ill probably end up thanking everyone again later, but for the record thank you to everyone who has helped me so much..

With the MG you may see you plant growing slowly..well at first it will seem slow but pick up..the MG may be to hot and slow it down or burn it..but hope it will work itself out with age..we will see i guess lol IM subbed..may want to get unsuflred molasses and Epsom salt for a nice cal mag and Foliar spray it later if you see that DEF.:Piggy Hug:I would say get at least one Nute for the Bloom stage to give you better yield :stylez rasta smoke::vibe:

Thanks Doobie, I appreciate it.. I have been so scared to overwater these plants. They are growing well, my peppers Im growing are slow on the other hand.

I cant wait for my 600 watt hood MH/HPS to arrive so I can give em more lumens....
