Not sure about the light, do you have a backup you can throw in there ?, even just some cfl's or something, they'll be fine until you figure it out. Ballast issue maybe. As far as cutting, either clip just the branches or just the plant, no dirt. Looking good Zip.:thumbs:
Hey thanks on the grow.. I cant believe this light, I just purchased a couple new HPS bulbs tonight.
I might have a handfule of CFL bulbs, no real back up light though. I sure hope these things get here as I have a Bubblelicious in flowering and one germinating as we speak to try a grow in a 5 gallon pot.. My current bubblicious was looking so awesome, as I am gonna certainly need light for it.. I had it LST'd so well almost coiling around the pot..

I cut them down from the main stem then hang up by branch..If you want some to dry faster cut it into small pieces for fast testing...I hang mine on the branch till the stem almost snaps..about 5-6 days then jar for 30 days opening the jar for 1 hr a day...thats just what I do ..there are allot of ways just dont jar it too soon so you dont get MOLD!:smokebuds:You did a great JOB!

You did great, try and have at least a week between chops. Sorry about your light, IMO it's your ballast.
Well Ill be darned... Its a virtual sun hydroponics brand.. There is a warranty for 1 year however shipping the ballast to and back (round trip) from california to my state is on me.. I was hoping they would just send me out a new ballast so I could mail the old one back because Im in the middle of a grow, but guess not..
That kinda burns my arse, but oh well it happens.. All you guys on here keep that in mind if you ever decide to purchase their stuff.. Just something to think about...

Well I cut one plant down tonight. I tell you what it was stickier than gorilla glue and super glue on steroids. I trimmed them up best I could, the smell was giving me a headache.. It was strong as anything Id ever smelled.
I hung each branch from some knitting yarn. I didnt get a chance to weigh it yet, because we all know dried weight is what counts. I will have pictures soon..

Well I have an update, although no pictures available it is an update nonetheless..
I feel very good about this one I chopped, I let a buddy have a gram who smokes it like Ultra Light cigarettes.. He told me it was the nicest looking he had had in a long, long, time. He said him and a friend took 3 good pulls from it in a lil pipe and it felt like he had smoked oer a bowl. Needless to say, I am impressed and once again I have to give the credit where it is due. Thank you to everyone on here, every single one of you either had good info that I did learn from and also to everyone who has wrote tutorials and how-to's.
Without your knowledge, will to give good info I probably would have ended up with a dead plant. So thank all of you very much.. My friend kept saying I have a green thumb, but I told him I had learned so much from everyone here. Big thanks

I did manage to pull 1 ounce and 10 grams from one plant after drying. It didnt last long, everyone enjoyed the snot out of it while they could. I didn't expect it to get smoked up as fast as it did.. Everyone also wants more.. It was so crazy it went so quick..
