Hope all is well.

My old lady is point blank refusing me to put up tent and lights at home now...not even in the garage away from our children. They never seen any other of my grows so why would they see this one?

Normally I storm around a while and she gives in, but this Time is different.. She's not giving in.

Has any of you had this problem...and what's the best way to resolve it? I told her either I grow it or you buy me it from shifty dealers... Stone face...

How big is your tent, I had kinda the same problem and convinced the other half tat 2 60x60 are more inconspicuous than 1 120x120
But then as a female she changed her mind again and let me keep the 120

bummer. i knew my wife wouldn't go along with it from the get go and I KNOW she woulda told her friends so I built a "tool cabinet" in the garage and eventually put a tent in it, the garage is my domain, she don't go in it, her choice, so generally she dosent go out there. that's how I done it. cant help with convincing her, after 35 yrs I learned to pick my fights and work around what she wont go along with. most happy marriages have worst secrets than mine LOL

That's never an easy conversation to have seasick; honestly I would be surprised if most people reading this with significant others haven't gone through the same thing a time or two before!

Rather than get angry with her; I would talk to her about it. It's clearly obvious there's been something bugging her about it and I think you'd be better off identifying those things and working on those than you would be making a hard ball case of "I'm growing and that's that." I don't suggest lying or keeping it a secret from her either, that's a very slippery slope.

She has issues with what you're doing; figure out why that is and then start building a good case as to why it's better that you DO grow. Maybe your grow stinks and you're the only one that doesn't smell it lol. Maybe the kids are asking "why does dad keep going to his shop with the watering can every 2 to 3 days?" Explain to her the SAVINGS in growing, the SECURITY in growing (not having to go 3rd party to find your herb,) and any other benefits you think she might see the light on.

Then promise to work on and fix the things that have been bugging her on it.

A happy wife is a happy life buddy.

lol I like the find a new mistress idea.

My Mrs had the same views, no tents etc. I let the idea fade away and put one up two weeks later.
4 weeks went by and then she noticed it, point and case proven. she now lets me grow.

The only solution I was able to come up with was a bit drastic. On the other hand, it's a lot quieter now...
