Just be careful and thinks things through. I started growing cuz my ex wife smoked so much then she went off her rocker and tried hanging me out to dry for growing. Now I'm a dead beat dad that's a drug dealer in my kids eyes. I grow a little weed sell to a select few and never to kids. I dont even smoke in my house if there's a chance of a kid being around. All I know is things can change in the blink of an eye so make any iffy growing decisions carefully. Good luck seasick

my girlfriend didn't allow me to grow either for 13 years cause i got busted back then cause my neighbours smelled them and reported it, and she doesnt smoke at all so she said no to grow...
since i never got any punishment or fine back then cause i only had few plants, i could convince her that the risks are minimal
she has allowed me now as long as i dont take more than allowed in the country i live in and have also taken small auto plants with less scent and we live in a house with no neighbours attached now so the risk is a bit lower..
also i grow now for seeds and for my own new strain and as soon as that is achieved its guerrilla time so i can have one yield maybe two for the entire year so its mostly a money question now and not as much the chance of getting caught.
i also told her its not as much the smokes i wanna grow for, but it has allways been my biggest hobby's (wich is the truth) and every one should be able to do what they like most in their free time
my tip would be to convince her that its for the bennefit of the family cause you dont have to go to unknown dealers or maybe even run into an undercover and have to do time. or as some allready advised you can go outdoors (guerrilla).
that way no one can come to your house and smell them so its not as much dangerous as growing indoors
hope somehow you manage to find a way to grow some and be able to see those beauty's go from small seeds to fine looking buds

I'm sorry to hear about this Seasick. Does she enjoy herb? How old are your kids? I wish that there was some magic word you could say but as we all know......there usually isn't one. If she enjoys the smoke and the kids are still young, too young to understand, then I would just patiently and calmly express the security and safety in doing it yourself. Find out what HER major issue is and then find a way to solve that and make her feel good, if not better about it. As fas as smell and hiding it, I am sure you can find a dozen alternatives and fixes. If the kids are young enough, placing it in a locked room or cabinet that maybe you only access when they're not around. Hell, I don't know. Sorry to tell you things that you probably already know. Bottom line, just talk to her and find out what her issues are and as they say...'listen' to her. I hope you can find a reasonable and satisfying solution. Good Luck!
