As of now it just looks like a calyx to me. Don't stress to hard over it. Just make sure it doesn't extend and have a little ball!
would it be worth removing it with a scalpel?

Been really stressing over the last hour or so, so fingers crossed its nothing to worry about. I can now concentrate on getting my temps back up as there sitting around 16 to 18
