Hello AFN, and all you great people who live here. I am so lucky to have stumbled upon such a wonderful place. I am a new, old guy with only a few years of growing experience, photos only. I am just finishing up putting my grow room together. I have built it in the attic of my garage.
While in the process of making my soil mix I have just realized that I have been adding dolomite lime to bring down the PH. What I have found out is that it tries to keep the ph at around 7. I have added aprox 5 cups in about 3 cubic feet of mix. Have I totally messed up this batch of mix? Can I still use this mix and add something while growing to bring the ph down? if so what? I have 4 new Auto girls about 5 days old 2- La Diva and 2-AK47's needing a new home soon. What's your thought? and thanks for being here.
