I'm going to temporarily stop the staggered perpetual auto grow I've been running for awhile to try my hand at a photo grow and I'm growing a couple larger pot autos in my second tent. (Usually I run 1 gallon pots) so I'm going to miss the variety I've been able to maintain.

I've done some novelty grows in past in 3D printed pots and pulled some decent bud from them. I have so many seeds and so little room that chances of all my Mephisto freebies seeing a large pot just isnt going to happen anytime soon. So I decided to plug in all the spots waiting for my large autos to grow with some single cola micro grow freebies.

I will update you on how this goes. Not going to soak all 18 beans in different cups so it's direct sow and those who make it, make it. They are going in a mixture of Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Perlite, Grow dots and worm castings. These are 3" nursery pots and there will be no transplant. I will prune everything but main colas.

Doing the same thing now with my SN x Livers Bx1 freebie, germing as we speak…only freebie I’d likely never run as my main pot so reusing a 1 pint plastic container (about same size as yours) with 70/30 coco/perl and some clay pebbles on bottom. Helluva lineup you got, i’ve got a few of those too, can’t wait to see this

There is some action in the germination chamber today. This is first time ever direct sowing seeds and I am actually surprised with as many sprouts as I got. There is only 1 with no movement and then a couple that just went sideways but overall I am happy with the results. I will give the non sprouts a few more days before I remove them. No plan to replace seed, I am happy with how many popped for this project and don't need all 18.

Had a catastrophic issue with "germination pod" and learned it's limitations at the cost of most of the sprouts. I have 5 or 6 of them in tent but a majority were lost. I will retry this one when I have more room and revise my chamber. If all 18 made it I would have had to cull some as tent is just packed.

I'm going to make some room soon with Pink Panama only on day 59 shaping up.

Chopped a Mango Smile on day 84 and can't believe it really has strong mango scent. It's first for me!! My little freebies in all various stages of growth lol

Hey all,

Just an update. My Mango Smile is now stable 10 days into cure and will be heat sealed for another month or so in Grove bag. It's been in one whole.time and I haven't messed with it. Just monitor it before I seal.

My next Mephisto harvest will be all my small ones in 3" pots. I think I have 5 or 6 still going that I'll likely get a solo small exquisite bud from lol. They could have been much bigger but honestly they are on ground of tent in shade under another plant for the most part. Maybe 30% has light poking down and I rotate every couple days when I'm in there. They otherwise are also being neglected and ignored short of watering and feeding along with tent mates.

My first photo run has occupied my larger tent and my other tent has a large plant on day 72 with weeks and weeks to go. It will be a while before I get to pop some more beans. This is not something I'm used to and I don't like it!

I miss my perpetual growing. If these photos aren't pure fire I'm switching back to 100% autos. If they do impress I'll still use my smaller tent for 1 gallon autos so I can stuff and stagger with the space I'll be have. I was going for 2 seeds every 2 weeks and would harvest 2 plants every two weeks that averaged 2-3 oz each. I loved the variety. Not sure why I decided to switch it up lol

When I do soak my next auto beans the Mephisto reps will be Chemdogging and White Cream with head of line privileges.
