got my NCH which ive been really really loving, its a beautiful plant, probably the best thing ive grown yet but over the last week or two its slowly got more yellow and yellow all over...

Shes on day 43 and i carried out a flush at around day 35 which i do with all my grows as the first 2 i got PH problems around 5 weeks...i believe this is due to bad water containing a lot of salts and minerals etc or just the change over of nutrients, plus i do not water to run off....

Ive been progressively feeding her more and more from 0.5ml per litre up to 2ml at the moment which makes me wonder if shes just really hungry or if shes got another problem like PH lockout where I have not flushed her for long enough...I was just on Bloom nutrients but ive started to add some Grow back in for the higher nitrogen content thinking that might have been the problem....

So last feed was as follows....

2ml per Litre of Plant Magic Old Timers Grow (NPK Ratio 5-3-3)
2ml per Litre of Biobizz Organic Bloom (NPK Ratio 2-7-4)
2ml per Litre of Plant Magic Organic PK 4-8 (NPK Ratio 0-4-8

Shes grown in biobizz allmix, 16L rhizo pot under 200W COB's...

This when mixed into my tap water goes in at a PH at around 6.7 which is fairly high but with bit of soil buffering its never been an issue...anyway heres some photos...just after a bit of advice to if my idea of feeding some grow nutes back in for the nitrogen is the way i should be going about this or not really! Ive included a photo of her next to the stilton special which can be seen to have a darker green colour to her...

Im not a fix it all pro.... this is just a quick opinion until yhe outstanding sick plant dudes get here.

I dont think shes sick at all.

Leaves are pointing upward praying to the cobs. Nice flat no rusty spots. I believe shes just a bit hungry myself.

I used to do a mid grow flush (stopped with better results) but i noticed after the flush any built up nutrients were washed out and depleted and the plant gets a heavy dose of straight water. After that i noticed the same as you. Still happy looking but a bit pale. Looking hungry.

Dont go crazy and wait for a second opinion but i would up the feed just a hair and hold course.

I have as well noticed with my cobs they tend to be a bit pale at times with certain strains.

Overall your in good shape, good lights, good nutes, good soil, and happy plants.

Thanks for the speedy response...appreciate it! im kinda with you on this though...she doesnt look to sick but i had problems before with PH so i get paranoid...im really happy with the size shes got to and how healthy she was i dont want to ruin it at this point....

After the flush I did a really heavy feed about 4ml per Litre of BioBloom, with some root stimulant (supposedly helps reduce stress)....i fed so heavy as most of it runs through as its quite saturated...im assuming with organics it can easily be washed away and take a while to get going again but its been about 1 and a half weeks today since the flush if i remember correctly...

think i will see how she responds to the slightly heavier feed this morning...ive guessed shes gonna be a lot heavier on feeds due to size so maybe if shes no better by the end of the weekend i will really up the feed to 4ml per litre which ive never had to do on my previous grows...but they were probably half the size :P

Sounds good man just remember dont expect immediate results .... up the feed and hold for a bit there will be a lag... but over all shes gonna put out. Nice plants man

ya, just looks hungry, specifically for nitrogen. When they need N, it's wise to follow with some cal mag too because it means they are making lots of new cells.

sounds good to me...half what i expected but im just being paranoid and panicking big time...thanks again for the heads up!

i havent actually fed any cal/mag this grow...i did all through my last grow even when they hadnt shown a deficiency as people said LED they really call for it but i heard too much can limit other minerals/elements so forgot about it this time...maybe i will drop a bit in when shes dried up tomorrow...thanks for the heads up! glad my thoughts/sense of shes nitrogen hungry is correct though...hoping that using the grow nutes will replenish that...

:toke: Site-- without a direct pH measurement in-pot, it's a hard to say if this is a lockout or lack-of type defc. happening,... I recommend the Accurate 8 soil pH probe for in-pot measurements, as the run-off method is dubious at best, and a pain in the ass to do,... having flushed (how much? 2-3x pot volume is usually the starting point)... that said, much of what you use is organic, so salt build-up from what synthetics you used isn't likely,... what's your water hardness and pH? Do you have a TDS or EC meter?
...symptoms look mostly like S defc., which often hit's with all-over paleness, tops worst and first,... given the lack of other symptoms, I'm thinking pH is probably OK...S can start to lock out under 6.0 pH, but not badly until it's really off pH,... No sign of that fortunately!.... food NPK ratio's look fine, plenty of PK going in, N too,.. (N defc. hits lowers first, it's a mobile nutrient within the plant).. sometimes though, a slight P defc. can start with pale leaves on mid to uppers, and nothing says you can't be experiencing some of both at the same time,... stay the course with your nutes, and add some epsom salts (MgSO4) at 1tsp/qt,... you can do a foliar spray as well with it at 1/3 that strength, for fastest results... you'll need a wetting agent to make it coat and stick more evenly; get top and bottoms of leaves, try not to soak the buds; do it early in the day, out of direct lighting until dry... make sure she's dry by lights out to avoid potential mold issues,... ordinarily I don't recommend folial during bloom, but done right and when it's severe enough, I do,... a couple treatments like this over a week is OK, and you can do a clean water rinse to remove residuals later,... same deal, let her dry fully, shake her some to knock extra droplets off.... soil dosing, do a couple rounds at that rate, then go 1/4 tsp/qt,... I doubt she'll recover much color, and at this stage, no point in flogging her with too much extra stuff, we want a halting of progression mainly,....
