Hi. Was hoping a noob could get some quick answers as my girls are due very soon for a feeding, and I need to know what to do.

I'll try to be brief and concise, but if you think a pic would be helpful, or need more info please let me know.

I am currently approaching week 7 of one plant each of two different strains. Started off light with veg nutes at week 5 and increased gradually every other watering. They seemed to be ok. Started introducing bloom nutes this week for first time, as flowering has really taken off, and vertical growth has almost stopped.

What I am noticing on both plants is on some of the smaller, newer leaves coming off the buds (mostly near the top, but some in the middle) look like they're really curled up and kind of narly looking. They're also a darker green. All of the older, established leaves and fan leaves are fine.

So is this a sign of nute burn or normal as the buds develop?

Thanks for any help!

Hey friend,Welcome!! And a pic is always nice here.Lots of info. for a pic er three.Esp. when talking about curling leaves, color and the like.

Thanks kindly for the response! This site and the people on it are the best! Here are those pics.

The first four are of the AK-47, which seems to have more going on of what I described. The last pic is a bubblicious, which is not as bad, but it is a little less developed.

Looking back, I should have stuck with one strain for my first grow, especially trying to manage two very different strains! The AK has turned into a 3+ ft tree, and the Bub is more like a 2 ft bush. But I've learned a lot thanks to every one here, and hopefully they'll turn out OK. I'll be happy with whatever I harvest and look at it as a learning experience.

Thanks again.

OK. So I just looked again and noticed something else that may help. It seems that the all of the leaves which are affected as I described, have one thing in common. They look like they are "dusted" with what I am guessing is the resin? that the flower is producing and it's coating the leaves closest to the buds? This is normal and good right? Please forgive my ignorance.

Thanks!

They look like perfectly healthy plants to me. Stop worrying so much.

Mine looked like that from over watering. I lifted the pots off the ground about an inch with platform so air could get in thought the bottom. That helps to dry them out. And test the soil to make sure it's dry all the way down. It could also be from the weight of the resin. Good luck :)
