Mephisto Genetics NuteBurn's 24 Carat Adventure

We have just opted for a couple of those like yours NB. I think with our discount they were 35 euros each a pop.

after a terrifying experience not so long ago... It's way better than nothing.
And if they do fudge the equipment.. Well it's better to have to replace equipment than a house!

Yeah man, i've seen the devastation in the past, they do cause a lot of mess! The halon gas ones are very expensive for what they are, especially over here in UK and I can't justify spending that amount on a fire extinguisher. My LED unit cost less money than a halon extinguisher, so I can always replacee it if the worst should happen! I've never heard of any growers on here having any fires, so they must be rare. My ABC extinguisher is literally just a precaution, as long as any fires are put out toot-sweet then i'm a happy (and free) man!

Peace
NB
Fires may be rare but where I live i do not even have a fire department so any way of containing a fire is good to me. I am going to get a few of those babies be it a powder or the one above. I will feel so much safer leaving my house thank you for doing this importany upgrade and showing it on here or I would have not thought of this once again THANK YOU AND POWER REP

That's my way of thinking also.

Got mine off ebay £26 - a bargain house-saver! Those Toof Decay beans came through the other day as well, thanks very much for the freebie Alien x Triangle beans! How tall can I expect the AxT plants to grow?

Wow - these are a must for you then, having no FD nearby! I do feel a lot better about leaving my grow room when i'm not in the house, I used to be a constant worry. Thanks very much for the rep mate!

Ahh ebay, I miss it :)

but yeh with the exchange rate pretty similar price.

i didn't really elaborate before but we had a cable reel that decided to melt and then it set alight the black/white material lining the walls.
it could also have been a cheap extension.

we were very lucky that we had just returned from shopping and were there and it wasn't in the middle of the night.

it was the first instance of anything like this happening but.. Just because it hasn't happened before doesn't mean it won't happen.

it really shook us as we could have lost everything.. The main thing was that no one was hurt, plants included :)

we re-did all of our electricals and touch wood no problems since.
Some lessons learnt - be wary of black/white plastic, don't skimp on electricals, have some extinguishers.. You'd be surprised with adrenaline how fast you can manoeuvre a wheel barrow full of water, but it's not the safest or most efficient way to put out a fire :)

....
the alien triangle was made with shorter phenotypes of the Ripleys, and should produce a medium sized bushy plant but if height limited I would be prepared for some training.

cheers!

Lucky escape on that one Mitch! Sounds like to got back in the nick of time before the whole lot went up. It's frightening really, how devastating small fires can be inside houses - i'm super duper paranoid about it actually, as the consequences of my house burning down are quite serious for me. Safety first! Thanks for the advice on the AxT - i've got a total height of 1.5m in my tent, so should be ok!

Day 20

Just a small update today. Things are still on track round my ends, no dramas or issues to report. Feed solution as of today is: 1.4ml/l Sensi Grow A&B. All apart from the runt have shown sex today, i'm expecting the runt to show in the next few days. Did some leaf tucking too, as the branches are starting to grow longer.

Here they are chilling out in the NB tent this afternoon:

Peace 'til next time :)

Day 25

What a difference 5 days makes!

6CSoPKD.jpg

All 4 are really happy and healthy! The runt is now thriving and just looks like she's a week behind the rest. These are the softest plants i've ever grown - the leaves are so silky to touch. They don't smell much yet, but the smelliest is the runt so far. Affy. The leaves are a sure sign of a 100% indica plant - my favourite :) All are now showing preflowers, and are starting to stretch. Feed is now 1.6ml/l Sensi Grow A&B, and 1.6ml/l calmag. Buds soon cometh!
