What kind of nutes would you use in an outdoor drip system in 5g pots? We're in the hot ass desert, and the plants dry out quickly. Im not able to hand water them as much as they need it. I've got them on a drip system hooked up to our well water. What kind of slow release nutes can I use. I've got GH Flora line that I use on everything indoors, but not sure what to use outdoors.
Thanks

Use a fertilizer injector system. There are many out there from inexpensive to very expensive that are computer controlled.

This is a simple set-up.

Then you can use the tank-mix of lots of nutrient lines.

Slow release fertilizers are a PITA to keep balanced.

Bio-Tabs maybe.

Great info. Thank you. So, could I pour a heavy mix of the GH Flora in the injector, and it'll slowly add it as I water? I know with GH Flora they say to mix the micro first with water, then add the others. So I do the same thing but just have it a lot stronger mix?
Thanks

Yes that is the idea but there is a limit to how strong you can mix it before you get chemical reactions that bind the nutrients and make them unavailable to the plant. You can see this happening when you mix your nutrients wrong. You will see crystals form and drop to the bottom of the container. It is cool to see but it ruins the fertilizer. This can be solved by using 3 tanks and 3 injectors. The Micro first then the others. It would take some trial and error and a good EC meter but it could be done.
