Some older lower leaves will somtimes yellow and die off and this is normal unless it starts moving up the plant. Are you ph'ng your water and using any cal/mag?

Also, are you leaving the water out for 24 hours to let the chlorine evaporate?

I have not done any PH testing I do not have any equipment to do the testing. No Cal/Mag and no I have not let the water sit for 24 hours. There is some more yellowing a spotting on the lower leaves. The top leaves are looking fine.100_0083.JPG 100_0085.JPG 100_0084.JPG

You should always ph your intake water and if you have city water you should let it stand for at least a day or more.Your plant looks ok so i wouldn't worry unless it gets worse.

If you want to grow herb, you need a ph meter. Not too pricey either. Then just ph water after it has been sitting for at least 24 hours. Easy man, no worries. The reward is worth it :)

What brand makes good PH meters?
The name brands like BlueLab will cost a lot, but pH probes are notoriously short lived.
I'd suggest buying two cheap ones instead of an expensive one.
$12-$17 apiece should suffice.
Avoid the ones that read to the nearest 0.01 pH, because the second decimal place is insignificant, and makes the meter harder to read.

Essentials brand is very good and not too pricey.
