Indoor Nutrient Ideas

AN is my vote bro. I've helped a few people out with starting lineups for AN, PM me if you're interested. :smokebuds:

Ive been running Blue Planet nutrients for my photo grow. They have a high yield system with a 3 part base 2 full growth adds and 2 flower adds, a foliar that can also be used in your mix. And a root stimulator. Ive had some amazing growth and they are good for every soil including soilless. They also have an organic line with all the same stuff

Are the CYCO nutes ph balanced like the AN Ph Perfect stuff?

You could use raw salts, this allows you to tweak any individual nutrient to fit your needs. It only costs about 10 cents a gallon. Why pay a nutrient company to ship you water? Water is heavy and expensive to ship. You can just buy the ingredients yourself. You can even copy nutrients such as AN sensi series... This is what Im feeding my plants.......

All you need is calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate, potassium phosphate, potassium magnesium sulphate, micro nutrient mix and potassium silicate. Should cost an initial $50 and last you for years. I do recommend using a potassium silicate product like rhino skin though, raw potassium silicate is hard to use and can throw your PH out of whack and the silicate can precipitate out of your mix so using a product like rhino skin is a lot easier.

Are you actually suggesting members mix and make their own nutrients?

Yeah its easy to do, farmers have been doing it for a long time. None of those ingredients listed are flammable and its the same stuff the nutrient companies are selling only suspended in water. Youve never heard of hydrobuddy or any other hydroponic nutrient calculators for doing this?

I like your post, there is however, an easier. although slightly more expensive way to go. Dry nutrients. I'm using General Hydroponics Maxi Grow and Maxi Bloom. Each comes in a 2.2lb. bag. One bag will make the equivalent of MANY gallons of pre-mixed liquid types. I'm using about 1Tbsp ( it comes with a measuring cup, a small about1 tsp on one end and what I assume to be about a Tbsp on the other) to my 12-13 gallon res to give me around 640ppms, even running 2 reservoirs, I've got enough to likely last a couple years of continuous crops! I payed $15.85 per bag, shipped. So $33 will give me dozens of grows. I think is the simplest, easiest way to go. And so far, I see no deficiencies in my plants. What's not to like! I change my reservoirs about every 8-10 days. Then just sit back and watch my girls grow. IMO, every beginner should start this way. Get fancy with your nutes after you get some experience. Or, you just might find, you don't need, 97 varieties of grow and bloom and root and bud candy and big bud and and super hellacious extra power grow and......$$$$$$$. If your growing for fun, sure it may be interesting to use that stuff, I just want to grow some quality meds without all the fuss.
