Hello! when my TD plants are ready to be chopped and dried I'm thinking of drying them in a cardboard box with a PC fan as a exhaust fan with dryer sheet over the fan and was thinking of getting a ONA block in the same room but it says not to put a ona block in the grow room, but the weed is going to be drying in the box. What do you guys think ?

If someone can help me that would be great:bong:

I'm on my first grow, but I don't think you are supposed to put a fan in the box you are drying the nugs in. The idea is the buds dry slowly over like 3/7 days. If there was a fan in there, they would dry way too quickly, and the smoke would be weird.
Might need a more experienced grower to confirm this though hehe

Yes I know that if a fan is in there the nugs will dry way to fast it's just a little PC fan blowing air out of the box it isn't powerful really it's just to get air flowing so no mold can appear :P

Hey I've been using a cardboard box to dry in for over a year now. Just make sure the fan is not blowing on the buds. I actually use a battery operated fan to move the air. A really really cheap fan. Its actually a office desk fan. It takes about 5 to 6 days in my setup to get em where I want em.

Awhh sweet :D yeah a cardboard box is my only option really going to have it in my bedroom so I'm going to get an ona block in my room to take the smell away otherwise it's going to stink lol but yeah I know not to have it blowing on the buds I'm going to cut some holes at the top and have the PC fan at the bottom blowing air out of the box so a little amount of air is going through the box :D

My experience is that drying bud is moderately stinky. I like to keep the bud in the area that has the carbon filter set up just to be extra sure no one finds out... especially after harvest, that would be painful.

Ps ive always got the window cracked open right enough

Yeah I've been with friends and they have been drying and it's smells ALOT! but in a good way for me lol. I would use a carbon filter but I haven't got one :/ but I'm going to put a ONA block in the ame room as the cardboard box for drying :)

That is exactly how I am going to dry my bud man!! and okay I won't move the box lol, would you recommend putting a PC at the bottom blowing air out? it doesn't run very fast so the buds won't dry out fast :D what you think ?
