New Grower oldcoot here- what would you do ?

One " Old coot to another "
Don't mean to butt in, but I grow by Muddies schedule for the most part & so far it is Outstanding! However I did notice that you mentioned growing in " DWC " and I have found a few things that differ a bit when growing in " Aeroponics " Such as I tried to go strictly with the yellowing of the leaves for Flush & Harvest, But I find while growing in Aeroponics the leaves want to just keep popping out Green until believe it or not appx. the 14th week. So what I came up with is this, The first 30days I DO NOT COUNT! Then it is appx. 8 weeks of Growing, 2 weeks of Flush, & then Harvest. I do this because it is simple & has worked well with several varieties of Autos. & it also eliminates the constant eyeballing & stress of " When to Harvest " I find the Triches are Milky & the plant has reached it's potential both in THC & Yield, or at least good enough for me. I then hang them for 3 days, Brown Bag for another 4 days & then into the Ball jars they go for a burping one time a day for a month, at this point those Sweet Big Ass Buds are ready to Enjoy! Anyway I wish you nothing but Awesome Harvests & above all else " Enjoy your Grow ":Sharing One:

Hey BustaB, thanks for replying. I was wondering why nobody would answer my question, oh well.
Well my plan was to start flushing friday but .... my ak is still full of white hairs.
Monday will be 11 weeks old from seedling. I think the other two are close, i will check trichs when i drain and replenish friday.
I jacked my nutes up to over 600 ppm and watched my ph drop from 5.8 to 5.1 in 24 hrs so i backed my nutes down over two days, now at 450 ppm-ph 5.8, guess it was to much nutes. wondered how high i should go. and still have calcium def. on my kush-put in 9 or 10 tsp. of calmag in 7 gal. water and still def. on that kush.
Love the smell on my fingers when im moving them around- makes my old dick hard !!! ha ha

Oh by the way i harvest like you do.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the positive effects of good bud ha ha, I expect my system of growing may be a bit different than yours as I keep my PPM between 1500 and 1700 during Veg stage & keep it at appx 1550 to 1600 during Flower stage with a PH of appx. 5.8 to 6.0 during the entire grow including " Flush " stage. The suspended roots being sprayed with the nute solution in my case perhaps allows a higher concentration, To be honest I don't know but I do know it works like no other way I have ever tried in some 45yrs of tinkering with Herb, Easy to maintain & the results are Awesome! Have a " GREAT GROW "
Running around 600 ppms is ideal IMO. Some people run them way high, but I just don't feel its necessary. Use baking soda for PH Up.works great, seems to hold the ph reasonably stable, It only takes a tiny amount to do the job too.

Hey Pop22 u may be right as per the nutes, However I was introduced to Aeroponics by folks who make a living at producing Herb & my quote on nute levels are straight from their teaching. Perhaps you are correct & it may be a waste of nutes going with a higher count, But with the results I get I would not change for anything! In my 45+ years of tinkering the one thing I have learned is this, when one " limits " ones box of thinking, one limits their potential & the potential of the Herb! Here are a few pics of growing at a higher count just to verify my Word!

Is the ppm's different if running aeroponics than hydroponics ?
I run a dwc with drip feed ( of course thats turned off once roots hit water ).
hmmm, might have to read up on aeroponics, your plants look great.
I have lowered my nutes now and ph has restabilized, it had to be to much nutes, at least for now.
Starting to see what looks like more cal. def. on my ak now, and im still running calmag.
tommorow i drain and replenish again, will check tricks and try to decide if i should run nutes for another week yet.
i'll take a couple more pics.

That's why I thought maybe different because of a system difference, in Aeroponics the roots are sprayed pretty much from the git-go right through harvest, this allows for an expedited growth of the root cluster & constant aeration from the sprayer gives the plants an optimum environment for above ground growth. I have no idea what they use now days in Hydroponics as I got away from it quite a while back when I switched to aeroponics and have never looked back. Happy growing!

Pics for you guys, well i didnt get my d & r done this morning, i'll do it this evening.
I did check my tricks though- the og is 90 % milky, the jock is 75 % and the ak is about 50 %, even though its mainly all white hairs yet.
I will just run ph water the next 2 weels starting tonight.
Opinions, observations, evaluations please.
1st two are jock, 2nd two are the ak and last two the kush.
definitely getting cal. def. on the ak now too.
Should i keep adding just calmag during the two week flush ?
