One thing that it doesn't mention is the rockwool. Do I want to run the rockwool to the bottom of the root pot or should i have a layer of clay pebbles in there?

I'm doing a grow with the auto white widow at the moment. They have survived high temperatures and a light that was broken for several days. I couldn't get the BAM to grow at all so the AWW are definitely easier for beginners!

soak the rockwool in water @ PH 5.6...put a 1" layer of pebbles in the net pot ...then the cube (gently squeezed ect) fill around it with more pebbles & wait for tap root ... read up on Seymours shit while you wait ::High 5::smokebuds:

Thanks guys, I couldn't find the Silica brand anywhere. I've got some Dutch masters silica, green planet pro cal and some canna boost on the way.

Hey man glad things are moving along, your grow is pretty much identical to what my second attempt (first hydro) will be. I'll be starting it next week with a GN006, 20L oxypot and Canna nutes, can't wait to get set up maybe we can help each other out with our experiences since things will be so similar. I'm also gonna be growing a BAM one at a time so this could almost be a mirrored grow! Good luck with everything, hopefully us hydro noobs wont let the team at AFN down oh and as Vira has mentioned a few times, you won't go wrong if you read through Seymour buds' grows, I found his starryder grow particularly educational..saying that you could have a read through Vira's grows too, definitely another green thumb over there capable of growing monsters
