So here are the pictures of my Mary Jane
However there seems to be some kind of animal trying to eat the leaves here a pic of the one and only leaf that shows signs
It seems to be a fly. Those are defo no spidermites. But what do you think ... cut of the part of the leaf?
without seeing them upclose and personal im gonna take a guess n say they are fungus gnats..ive never had them bad enough to know if they can look similar to thrip damage, since the lines to me look similar to thrips.I believe leaf miners tracks are much more defined I believe.but my heads not in the game today cuz my head is killin me.,LOL!I hope this link help you out brother.its the one I prefer.have a gander man.:smokebuds:
be a good idea to get some azamax or neem and spray them or make your own spray just be careful not to burn them with spray....Though if they are minimal you can squish them with your fingers as you find them and just keep a close eye on them...Just my $0.02 GL
I don't think those are thrips because then the leaf would have little dots and no lines.
I guess I will just squeeze them and take a close look everyday. Do you guys think it could become a problem? as it is only one part of a leaf that is "infected"
Get yourself a small loupe microscope at least x60 there only a few quid you get them on flea bay and you'll see whats going on if anything mate you should have one anyway to check your trics later on but great for finding bugs just found a few unwanted fuckers in ma chilli plant but to say all gone now , lol , so go get a scope :smokebuds:
Plant is looking healthy man. It shouldn't be a problem if you keep an eye on it. If you stop paying attention to it that's when it will be a big problem, and I know personally that bug populations grow quick. Mostly with spidermites which is what I have had to deal with before but still as I said before if you have some extra cash sometime grab your self some azamax or neem ''Einstein'' oil just incase you have a infestation at some point. ''which most do''
Okay great guys Thanks a lot. My girlfriend is building a trap tomorrow to "catch'em all". She hasn't noticed any eggs so far so I hope we will get the fuckers under control
