I added a 1/2" drainage tube and another valve to my hydro system. Yesterdays res change consisted of opening the valve to empty the res and controller then pouring 7 gals. of water into the system. Add PH and nutes and it's done.

Nice man, I dont know a lot about hydro, but it sounds like your doing good man. I move into my new place next week. I built my exhuast ventilation system yesterday. Had to make it silenced, so it wont bother the neighbors. Since I went ahead and went with my 6" ventech inline fan that is noisy like a jet engine lol. Imuh make a journal in a minute.
Keep us posted man. =) I want to grow some sour crack eventually. what did it smell like last time?

Day 8. I am able to leave the plants alone for days now that I've added the control bucket and a secondary res. Of course I still check on them several times a day
I need to find an inexpensive PH control system. Anyone know of anything?

Hey Jack, looks like the ladies are doing good man.
Im a hydro noob, with no experience. Just wondering if that white stuff on the rocks is normal? I know I had that issue sometimes on my soil, which Im assuming was mold. I sprayed it with neem oil. Im super paranoid about mold now lol. ..and spider mites
Im going with my 6" ventech 250CFM fan for now, until I buy a new 4" fan with a legit carbon filter etc. Im waiting on that so I can buy some meds from the dispensary to hold me over till this next grow gets to harvest. I posted up a new journal with my fan setup =).

Hey there Jackmc sorry i have not been around got loads of shit going on at the mo but im loving the setup, with your seeds, i no im a bit late on this one. but put the seed wrapped up in bubble wrap into the freezer for a day or 2 they think its winter then put them in a paper towls they should pop. i had a seed 3 to 4 years old seed pop this way for me. good luck my friend :Cool bud:
