Hey guys!
I'm slowly preparing myself for the first serious grow of an auto strain. I will be growing Cream Caramel.
At the moment I have 2 gallon pots which I'm afraid could be a little too small for the plants?
For ligting I would like to use 2x Sylvania GroLux 400w which is an HPS with added blue light for growth. I am not using 2 different kinds of light because of the budget and I've heard that you can get great results with these.
I'd make my own medium to grow the plants in from the following recepie:
3 parts compost
Now I should add 3 parts peat moss but I only found white peat if that's the correct translation. Thing is it should do fine but what concerns me is the ph of white peat... It says it's around 3.5-4.5.
2 parts perlite, pre-wet
1 part vermiculite, pre-wet
For the first week I wouldn't really use fertilizers but then I'd start with a fertilizer which contains 15-15-15 NPK and would use this for the whole growing cycle, fertilizing about 3 times a week.
I would stop fertilizing a week before harvest.
Also what do you say about germinating in rock wool?
Cheers
