You can veg and benefit from a higher cct-temp cobs but it's not really necessary or worth while. Unless you are planning 2 separate lights for 2 separate spaces. Most of my grows start and finish with 3500k and I'm pulling some numbers.
It is far too flexible on its own, the square tubing is thick and perfectly rigid though, and all type of plastic joiners are available. It may need a frame around it. Probably to flexible on its own.
My metric conversions are pretty much crap. 1m2 os 3x3 feet or 36"x36" right? If so a square frame with 12" centers would be perfect. It is far too flexible on its own, the square tubing is thick and perfectly rigid though, and all type of plastic joiners are available.
So i'm thinking i may frame the plate into a nice square or rectangle, just not sure what the best dimension would be after factoring my tent size and light output, 1m2 x 200w of 1212's.
Also if i may borrow your imagination for a second... Take multiple lengths of different width round aluminium tubing and slice them all up into 50mm segments. Then dip one base side of each segment into thermal adhesive then place each sized segment inside another onto the aluminium plate like a babushka doll in half haha. Do you think this could manage heat safely?
